Always! We need as many people in the sport as we can get so it’s important to help push beginners
It's going to be difficult when Spring officially hits and we know it's no more Freerider videos until Fall. Off to the second channel for some dirt works to tide us over. Great video as always! Awesome seeing Chris (contest winner) getting out there as well. Jealous of all the riding, even more jealous he gets a chance to ride with you and the crew.

whats the second channel?
My face hurts from smiling and laughing. This one was well worth the wait!
That is so sweet that you guys are teaching Chris so much. What a zone to learn.
Never a dull moment with Landon around!
I know were coming to an end. But untill then ... keep it up. Nothing like a morning with coffee and 20+min of freerider !! Cheers Mat !!
So cool seeing all of you taking the time to teach! Cheers to you all!
Always funny seeing the creative ways people rig up to tow sleds out. The ski push is something I would have never thought of either that’s pretty slick. Can’t wait to be done at work here soon and head out for some spring riding and boarding, work on that alpine tan!
Congrats to the give away winner!!!! Was wondering if the give away trip had happened yet. Man its been a long week without any new vids. Was wondering if the season was over and you were headed back East. Hate the thought that the season is almost over and the content will be slow coming, is it almost fall yet? Keep it up Matt.
It’s always the best waking up to a new video

Congratulations Chris !!! Pretty happy to see that you have had beautiful weather for your first day in Revelstoke. Matt and friends made you feel right at home I am sure. A trip of a lifetime, enjoy day 2 buddy !!! A+++
Thanks Matt, you never disappoint! Editing, filming, riding and tutoring are all om point, I appreciate your efforts and hello from Southern Ontario :)
Awesome content... congratulations to Chris for winning.. I have been looking forward to this video all winter ... best utube channel for mountain riding... Awesome... keep em coming
We always take the skis off and reverse them, then put the towed sleds track onto the tunnel of the tow sled. Works great for long pulls uphill. In the end, whatever gets ya out is the best method.

Congrats Chris, hey that was the best video, love watch these adventures, keep it up Matt
Thank you for all the videos! I'm going to miss these come summer
Make sure you throw a couple “you can’t park there’s” to Chris…lol. Seriously though…it’s awesome to see the winner have a blast and expand their experience with someone like yourself. You may not think you can teach but I see your patience and knowledge with new riders.
Remember how it felt first steep hill first jump and falling in love with freeriding ? Good on you for spreading the sled love .
So sick when you let him rip the turbo sled 🔥
Go Chris! nice ridin out there bud! Congrats on the winning the giveaway!
Congrats and kudos to Chris. Bet that 1st hill was pretty intimidating. I think tieing 1 ski loop to bumper would have worked but maybe not due to steepness.
@MuskokaFreerider

I was probably more scared than him on the 1st hill. Brutal initiation. We should’ve used two sleds and tied the ski loops to the running boards but I was determined to get it up with just my sled, trying to find the best method lol

@@MuskokaFreerider he handled it like a champ. Course correction up a long pull, hell a short pull when I first started, was maybe the biggest hurdle. Still is sometimes. Cheers
That was so enjoyable to watch. Matt’s your laughing is the best. 😂🇨🇦🔥
The way you guys looked out for him is awesome. Good riding buddies. Growing up in the desert on bikes I was always the one taking care of the group like mother goose trying to keep everyone safe and together which is fine but I had some friends that just never got riding down and were dangerous because they rode with tunnel vision and didn’t really have the natural skills I guess you would say that makes most riders even new riders excel and ride safely. Always getting lost because they never looked around at land marks or almost hitting people ripping across other trails. Those guys only rode a few years and gave it up. Watching your channel makes me want to get on one but living in the socal desert with the nearest snow being big bear lake which isn’t the biggest place i don’t know if I ever will. But man it looks fun.
Wow, so good to hear that Landon was ok, that coulda been so much worse!!! Another great day over all though.
The ski poke from one sled to the other while moving was madd skill
Best day ever😊. Chris is livin all our dreams!! Great job brother
Love the new push by ski method 👌😝😂. That’s slick , why didn’t I think of that before 🤦♂️
Dude, I LOVE your Headsock(Balaclava) tan!!!😂😂😂

That's awesome seeing a guy from the east coast join you. You'll have to come ride the chic chocs sometime place is pretty knarly for where it is!
Soooooo close to 100k!
Back here in Muskoka, it’s all but pooched. We went up to Kapuskasing for four days a week ago. Still like mid winter up there. Awesome video of the BC riding 👍👍
Thank you for always making amazing content. You keep me sane during the dry winter months 🤣
It was starting to feel like that time my dad went to get milk and never came back 😂
Just did a similar tow recovery yesterday. After many different methods, and many failures, we found the best way was to pull the sled uphill with no rider. We did it by running the "Y" portion of the tow strap through the ski handles, so they couldn't turn when there was tension on the tow strap. We then used a longer tow rope to connect to the rear bumper of the tow pig, allowing the towed sled plenty of space to come to a stop with no one running the brakes. The other method we considered, but didn't get to test, was to use the long rope just slipped behind the spindles of the tow sled, then tied to the rear bumpers of 2 tow sleds. Having the tow rope just slipped behind the spindles we though would have allowed for the tow rope to move freely, in case one sled was pulling more than the other.
I love the wide open mountain terrain. I duck on my sofa when you drive under tree branches!
What an epic experience to have!!!! 👍👍
Your sled vids stimulate and your construction vids are cathartic, please keep doing the excavator vids!
that was great , lets push to get Matt to 100k guys , worked his ass off for our enjoyment this year . Cheers
What a great season. Keep it up until spring ruins everything.
I do love seeing some trackies/wheelies.
Must be a crazy experience, to go from Québec, with trees and lesser snow, wooow insane
Chris had the full experience, the ear to ear grin !
Thought forsure they were weed drugging you with that candy
Man you seem like an absolute blast to ride with! Tag team pushing the sled with the skis was beautiful to watch.😂
Great vid as always
I love your vids and I want to be like you when I’m older!
love ur video’s keep up the goodwork👍🏼
Great job with buddy Matt
Ive got a vid on my channel getting towed out where we turned the skies backwards and put my track up on the tunnel of the sled towing. I could stand off the back of the sled and steer and we were able to climb out some hairy and steep stuff. A tough extraction can be a real buzz! Fine work out there boys!
dude this was beautiful all around ! left him speechless
Congrats, Chris but Just saying, you would not have to force me to ride the turbo 😂 I would love a trip out there and give it my all, and do what I could to get footage 🤙
For towing it I found going in threw ski loops to A arms on both sides works great and requires no rider to be on sled when on flat ground or going up hills
Awesome team work . Love it . Stick together .
i'd love to see your take on teachin someone avalanche basics. Damn bc is epic bro!!!! Smithers is beautiful!!
Another awesome video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Lmfao , you guys were havin way too much fun today 🤙😝.
TKI retainer!! love the vids
Creeping up on 100k subs, bud. I knew you'd get there this season
Opened up my chain case about a week ago and found a bunch of broken links… easy fix and glad it didn’t break like this 😅
Chris out there doing jerry's around the world proud🥳 I would have walked up that hill, not risking the borrowed sled or ending up in a fail compilation on the tube😮
Hope to see you do a video of Jackson when you were there.keep the videos coming 🤙
Keep up the good work!

Love this video
the team work is amazing
this video just goes to show how sick of a rider muskoka is!!!great video i liked it hahahah sad sleddin season is ending sooon!!
I’ve put 2 sled pulling in a line keeps the pull sled from digging down works great
I am from the Mont Valin area in Saguenay (Falardeau) the average snow fall on Mont Valin is 6m. The last winter I spent in Saguenay, 1996 1997 winter snowfall was 9m The last days of April I was on a snowmobile trip to our cabin on Pipmuacan reservoir and there was like 6' to 8' of snow to the ground and the lake was not into spring condition yet
You guys are insane but damm good team work Chris wasn't bad
The green machine is the best!
magnum deer sleigh's game sled. if you were able to pack one of those to bring riding you could put it under the track to make tow out easier.
welcome back you've been missed.

Call Matt's off-road recovery. 😂
id love to come ride my 20" expedition 900 with a 2.4" track with yall to haul stuff and for stuff like this
chic-chac and mont-valin are the most visited spot for bc sledders in quebec, canada
Matt if you tie the left ski hoop tight up to your right side bumper you can tow that sled with ease without him on the sled.
So what sled did you decide on for next year?
Yo, im from pembroke too hell yeah 🤘 got a 24 on order 👍👍
You are my favorite youtuber
LOL you guys are awesome!
you have some sweet looking sleds
Need to carry a crazy carpet with you. Put undr there track to pull out sleds.
