Yo, this is Crimson! Shout out to JDZ for featuring the deck and always making awesome content. So I looked through the comments and also some things JDZ said in the video and I can share a little wisdom here. First off Skill Drain is actually just the best card in the deck, it completely shuts down Chaos Turbo/Control as the decks are really based off the core of flip effect monsters and the Chaos Monsters, but it also just makes your monsters better. You loose the drawbacks on your beaters like Goblins and Gorillas while still getting to use the effects of things like Giant Rat and Exiled. Duo and Heavy are in the side, the deck is very tight on space and heavy contradicts the main idea of the deck which is the lock you setup with Chain Energy and Skill Drain, when you have both basically every deck in goat ceases to function and you can apply constant pressure backed up by the chain energy taxing the opponent for any play they make to try and get back into the game. I side heavy into any deck with heavy back row like warrior or burn but its not needed main because you want to keep the lock and you have a pretty heavy spot removal pkg for backrow (2x dust tornado, MST, Breaker), and Duo I bring in only going first to strip resources from the opponent, one of the keys to the deck is using the aggressive nature to stay ahead on life so that the symmetrical effect of chain energy stays more detrimental to the opponent. As for called by and premature, they are actually very solid in the deck for the same reason while yes they can be good with exiled or utility mons the deck just wants to keep the foot on the gas, you have to understand its not trying to play with the same mindset as really any other deck in Goat. You just want to lock the opponent out of effects and play to the damage race, what this does is allow you to overcome card advantage, goat is generally a grindy format and most people will try to manage their resources which plays into my plan to shorten the game and just blast damage while they are taxed on every play and hopefully locked out of effects. This playstyle lets you win games you just can't with other decks like I win so many games where the opponent has Pot/Graceful/TD etc and is way up on cards because I can close the game before they can use all of their cards. Lastly RotA, so the reason I dont play it is the deck has 6x S/T committed to the lock (Chain/Drain) again this is the core of the deck, and I want every other Spell/Trap to be impactful to the board, Smash and NoC take care of Threats & Sets, Premature/Call become toolbox options for removal or reviving a big beater, etc. The Giant Rats act as RotA, the 2 cards mentioned (lvl 2 & exiled) that RotA can find are also able to be put into play from the Rat, and Pre-Mature/Call have the added utility of potentially becoming a non warrior threat like Tribe for example while also being extenders that can help me push big damage. Between them and the Rock Spirits you can make OTK pushes like ReasonGate Turbo. Hope this helps out! Before watching I can already tell the deck has two major oversights: 1. Not playing delinquent duo: doesnt matter if you're playing chain energy; in this type of deck, you still need duo 2. Not playing ROTA: if playing exiled and lvl 2, you really want rota to be able to search; could easily cut giant rat or a goblin for rota, because rota can search for goblin anyways and rota is a better searcher than rat

Duo is in the side for the MUs it has the most effect and for when you are on the play post-side. I explained why I dont play RotA above, but also I didnt get a chance to talk w JDZ before he made the video to explain some of the theory behind the deck, card choices, playstyle etc but I know he is a busy man dropping daily content.

7 tools and Magic Jammer are in the side exactly for the reason to stop the power Spell/Trap plays Ive played with Solem in the past main and side but with all the life pmt cards and Chain energy its really rough and can loose you games, and yeah the Zaborg/Granmarg come in with the brain controls into agressive decks like Warrior and reg Earth Aggro etc because they can completely shift the tempo of the game, being able to remove beater from their field, tribute it for a Monarch that removes another card AND Put a big beater out is just insane. The monarchs even have solid utility into Chaos as you can still get 2 for 1s removing cards from their field and then attacking over a Sorc

I'm gunna ask in the discord as well but what about a chaos burn deck. Add reflect bounder for potential burn damage and an extra light, jar of greed over upstart and try and bait out pops, could super meme and go with giant germ but idk if that is anything but a meme 😅 i think there is potential here though

ceasefire was in the deck at one point but skill drain already takes care of flip effects and I found that cards that affect the board are just more potent whether adding to my board or removing from the opponents.

Why Earth Deck without Gaia Power? Does Goat have that Giant Muka Muka card where it's: 5 star 1200/600 For every card in your hand, gain +400/+400 Summon it with giant rat? The thing that keeps me away from Goat is still that dueling book is manual and not automatic. I should probably try that Edo game in goat format.

Great question gigantes is a powerhouse and basically a staple of any earth deck. But you can’t play him here because if his effect goes off it would trigger in the GY and destroy your floodgate cards and that would be small town dueling

Why make fun of airknight? Maybe the type of deck that's like trying to get airknight out, and after he's out: 3 x solemn judgements 3 x drop off 3 x time seal

Because airknight has 1900 attack and that deck had several monsters with 1900+ attack meaning airknight should be taken out I made a video about airknight on the channel it needs to be supported

Rat can keep you alive into other aggro decks and gives you access to the main toolbox mons u can grab with rota while maintaining board position, still gets good damage in, and works under skill drain.

I d change some cards: BOTH premature n call, doesn't do anything great. The ONLY good summon from them is exiled. You d have most of the time , banished monsters from the spirits,so this makes these cards even worse. Remove them and add 2 ROTA💯

Also dude😂 you have no solemn in main,so heavy etc etc definitely @@@@ you. I d remove one dust for the magic jammer in your side deck OR one dust plus the bottomless for 2 solemn. Bottomless isn't good here mate.

Also i believe you definitely want to play big shield gardna right? It s earth and combines well with skill drain.Funny deck though,the jdea is good. However i m not sure if you should go with the skill drain way. Probably removing them for adding something like casefjre etc etc d be better. MY OPINION always 👍

@@Gehinomlezvuvim initial versions I did try Solemn but it to much of a downside because of how much life payment, lack of defensive tools, and the center-focus of the deck Chain Energy. You always want to stay ahead on life so you maximize Chains tax on the opponents life.

Its not a burn deck its an aggro deck that also locks out all the effects that power the format and that can flip games tempo. I just went undefeated with it the first event ive played since 2022 so cant be doing to bad lol. But i dont expect most people to like it because it doesnt play by the same conventions that are driven into most Goat players minds which was the point of the deck and its design when I originally made it. Its an Anti Chaos Turbo deck, as its 70%+ of the meta thats what the goal was/is to have a strong MU into what you will see the most.
