You sure did this pattern justice. If I was to see this same pattern in a store I wouldn't consider it because of the choice of fabric colors they used. I have a hard time envisioning completely different tones I guess. The cream color you chose was also another great choice of tones to give the quilt yet another soft element. The quilt design you chose was an excellent choice I think because it echoes the soft theme of the quilt. It really is an outstanding quilt Donna, you should be quite proud..All your creations are fantastic but this one really sings!!

I have a solid cream colored cover, and used a sharpie and drew straight lines onto my cover.

Love the pattern as it combines an Irish Chain with a Log Cabin look, though I'd make it smaller. I'll figure it out for a 2" strip. As I've gotten older, I've given up on making large quilts for beds. I want to do this as a throw using batiks in creams and blue. Thanks for the video. Great instructions as usual.

I've never been a fan of gray fabric and never felt inclined to use it. Donna, as usual, you have taken fabric that I find doubtful and made something gorgeous. I'm anxious to make this beautiful quilt!

My eyes are always attracted to colors in quilts but this quilt is stunning!

I love to watch you sew, and I think you explain things very well. Did not think I would like this quilt, but after you finished it, I really did like it!

This quilt is just gorgeous. The colorway is so elegant, like lustrous grey and cream pearls. You have shown us what a dramatic difference color variations can make in a quilt design. The colorway on the pattern cover is very ordinary, nothing distinctive. Then by visualizing the possibilities of a neutral colorway, you turned the quilt into something spectacular. The colorway also gives this quilt a three-dimensional quality, like you're looking through a chain screen in front of the patchwork behind it.

Thanks for showing this video again. I was fascinated as to how the blocks came together via the strips. It was a lot of work but the end result is stunning- i loved the neutral colours it gives more definition to the pattern and also to the shades.🌻

I am thrilled with this quilt, bought the kit from Jorden Fabrics and it was perfetion. I was able to figure out where she got the quilting design from and now a really happy camper

I’ve bought more patterns than I’ll EVER use but it’s so fun looking through them as well as the jelly rolls I have. I noticed thagg also. Under the 1 round pack, looked like the rest were flat packs. Maybe the round pack was to catch customer eyes better ? 🤔

I’m thinking the “round” package didn’t have the “half n half” that she needed for the quilt. I noticed the flat package was split evenly between the two colors.

Love the subtle colours. Lovely pattern. Great teaching again. I would highly recommend anyone doing a cozy quilt pattern to follow your tutorials if there is one. I have bought a couple of cozy quilt patterns and followed your tutorials. So much easier. My bucket list has 1 thing on it. Travel to your shop and do lots and lots of shopping. 😁😁😁
