Wish it went on longer! That album really started opening my eyes "back in the day" Major thumbs-up!

When I was a kid my dad often played this song while on family road trips and it never failed to get laughs. It's been pretty well burned into my memory, so here are some of the missing lyrics that I remember. Starting at the beginning of the song up to where this clip starts, and then the part after this short clip finishes. "Well you know how us folks down in Texas, boast of our home in the west. You've heard us a sayin' in Texas, that things are the biggest and best. Well a few months ago in the paper, a fabulous story come out, that proves that us folks down in Texas, know what we're talking about. Here's to a guy with a big Texas smile... "... B is for the billions he's been bilking. I is to indemnify his loss. L is for the loan from Uncle Sam. And double L just like in double cross. I is for the interest he's accruing. E is for the eggheads he outsmarted. Put them all together and you've got Billie Sol whose initials are emblazoned on our hearts... BS."...

For some reason the whole song is unavailable in the US. Was just watching a video interview of LBJ's mistress, in which she mentions Billy Sol Estes. I can kinda sort sing some of these words, although I was NOT political at the time -- have never really been. This song was about his corruption. Maybe I should buy the LP and have the songs on it digitalized.
