Your right! Conservative. Both children should be rightfully charged with perjury. I can imagine moving forward. All the key board crime psychologists will be studying the Daybell clan for their being indoctrinated into their parents ( Doomsday cult) you can be sure they'll be shunned by their extended families and their LDS church. They will have no privacy and their every move scrutinized. I sure as heck wouldn't want to be related to that family. Wouldn't doubt they'll change their names, looks the area they live in.

Prior had a near impossible task-- to defend someone who didn't give him a lot to defend. He got a lot of criticism for doing his job, but in the justice system everyone is entitled to a strong defense. I think Prior tried to do his best. It's like giving a chef random roadkill and asking to make a gormet meal-- there is only so much one can do. I am glad Prior did a commendable job. If he didn't, there would be arguments that Daybell wasn't given his due. I am guessing no one came to his defense in the sentencing because he didn't want his kids to hear anything against him.

She also didn’t waive her right to a speedy trial in light of some of the prosecution evidence not being ready. So her court appointed attorney argued that, in light of some evidence not being ready, at the very least DP should be taken off. It was on the table until that point. Lori’s appointed lawyers did not argue a defense, but they saw getting the DP removed as their win. Initially Lori and Chad were supposed to be tried together but Chad waived his right to a speedy trial, while Lori didn’t. So their trials were separated. So…Lori had better lawyers.

@@shawnmurray9964 yes. But if Chandler County PD actually did their job, the children and Tammy would be alive now. Before Charles died, he said on police body cam that Lori threatened his life, called him Ned Schneider, that she was exalted, etc… but the police didn’t believe him. When he is killed a couple months later, the Chandler police don’t investigate and just take Lori and her brother’s word that it was self defence. That… is pure negligence.

Yeah, you spoke to Prior a week before Jury selection and caused a GAG Order to be put in place!
In a way, while I hate that Lori could not receive the death penalty, I’m kind of glad knowing Chad has to live the rest of his life knowing his mistress put him there while she avoided the same fate. Well, he put himself there, but you know what I mean. Lori “wins” again but her last victim is the one she cavorted with to commit these heinous acts. At least she will rot for the rest of her life.
I wonder if prior thinks it was worth defending a monster for a house
Chad sits there like a big lump. He’s just taking up space.
Chances are good he will never actually see the death penalty because the appeals will be ongoing...but this monster will never see a free life again .
The Judge did not sentence Daybell to death, the Jury did. He merely confirmed the decision.
How about Charles’ new mugshot! I still feel for his wife Tammy that he murdered and Lori’s children Kylie and JJ. I’m sure all three are in the arms of Angels.
Pryor had a choice to not represent him earlier in the case but he didn't let go of his eggo and took it personal to carry the load when he should've not. Eventually, he fell for Daybell's manipulation which it got to him in the end by extending his personal time for his client. It was those type of commitments that compromised his focus on the case. So frankly Mr. Pryor, you did it to yourself.
Get him otta here
