Châteaux of Bordeaux: Château Yquem and The White Tower

Throughout the world, French wines are an exception, and more particularly those from Bordeaux and Burgundy. Château Yquem, it is customary to say that it is bottled gold. The most famous sweet white wine in the world, made with grapes affected by the famous noble rot, Botrytis cinerea, offers such a capacity for aging that one might think it immortal.
Château La Tour Blanche, 1er cru classé of Sauternes in 1855, also owes its price to the very specific production of the wine, from grapes where gray rot has been allowed to settle. The owners of these exceptional grands crus open the gates of their estate to us and lead us to meet all the passionate actors who work on the conception of these great wines. Oenologists, cellar masters, vineyard managers but also marketing, tell us about the exception of their wine in the landscape of wines in France and around the world.
