今回は、久しぶりに車検整備に関してのご説明です。
251㏄以上のオートバイを所有していると、必ず車検というものが必要となります。
カスタムのように見た目や乗り味が変わらないのに数万円の費用がかかり、
なぜこんなに高いのだろうと思う方も多いのではないでしょうか。
それでは、そもそも車検とは何なのかをご説明させていただきます。
車検とは、国の法律で定められた保安基準に適合しているかを確認するため、一定期間ごとに国土交通省が検査を行い、
同時にオートバイの所有権を公証するために登録する制度のことです。
日本の法律では、道路を走るオートバイは2年に1回(新車時初回は3年に1回)車検を受けることが義務付けられています。
車検を受けなければ『無車検車運行』となり、厳しい罰則があります。
車検を受けるためには、オートバイの点検整備、自賠責保険の加入が必要となります。
点検整備とは２年定期法定点検(以降、２年点検)のことです。国で定められた、約５０項目近くの点検を行います。
当店では５０項目に加え、オリジナルで点検項目を追加し、全部で89項目の点検を行います。
オートバイの点検は、人で例えると健康診断と同じです。オートバイは機械ですので、乗れば乗るほど、エンジンや車体に使われている消耗品が少しずつ摩耗していきます。定期点検を行えば早い段階で消耗品の交換や修理ができるので、修理代を安く抑えることが可能です。
それでは実際に、２年点検について詳しくご説明いたします。２年点検は分解整備記録簿に記載された89項目を点検していきます。
点検して異常が見つかったり、使用限度に達している箇所に関しては、交換や修理、調整を行います。
また可動部分には給油を行い、ボルトやナットの増し締めも行います。

This time, for the first time in a while, I would like to explain about vehicle inspections and maintenance.
If you own a motorcycle of 251㏄ or more, you are required to have a vehicle inspection.
It costs several tens of thousands of yen even though it does not change the look or ride quality like customization.
Many people may wonder why it is so expensive.
Let me explain what a vehicle inspection is.
Vehicle inspections are conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism at regular intervals to ensure compliance with the safety standards set by national law.
At the same time, it is a registration system to notarize the ownership of motorcycles.
Japanese law requires all road-going motorcycles to undergo vehicle inspections once every two years (or once every three years for new motorcycles).
Failure to have a vehicle inspected constitutes "operating a motorcycle without inspection" and is subject to severe penalties.
In order to have a vehicle inspected, the motorcycle must be inspected and maintained, and liability insurance must be purchased.
Inspection and maintenance refers to the 2-year periodic statutory inspection (hereinafter referred to as "2-year inspection"). The inspection consists of approximately 50 items as specified by the government.
In addition to the 50 items, we add our original inspection items, totaling 89 items.
Motorcycle inspections are like medical examinations for people. Motorcycles are machines, so the more you ride, the more the consumable parts used in the engine and chassis gradually wear out. If you perform periodic inspections, you can replace or repair the consumable parts at an early stage, thus reducing the cost of repairs.
Now, let me explain the details of the 2-year inspection in detail. 89 items listed in the overhaul record book are inspected during the 2-year inspection.
If any abnormality is found during the inspection, or if any part has reached the limit of use, it will be replaced, repaired, or adjusted.
Moving parts will be lubricated and bolts and nuts will be retightened.
We will prepare and present an estimate for the work to you before we begin. If additional maintenance is required after the inspection, we will prepare another estimate and obtain the customer's approval before proceeding with the work.
