Very nice looking bike. I personally prefer the Heritage though mainly for comfort and aesthetics. I find the single disk J.Juan to be sufficient here. Duel disk Brembo's are a nice perk but a bit overkill for a 196KG bike under 100HP in my opinion. I'm sure I might want them on a 1000cc Sports bike.

Where I live, this bike undercuts all of them by a freaking mile, it's cheaper than even the SV650 by 25%. I was expecting that price factor to show in the build & ride quality, but when I test rode it I was surprised it held its own pretty well in both areas. Ridiculously nimble & easy to handle. My 5'3" wife was dead set on getting an SV650 as her first bike but was instantly swayed the second the straddled the 700 CL-X -- it's a lot of bike for very little money, and for a beginner like her it's a hands-down winner.

Depends on what kind of bike you want.Looking at you options you want a sport bike so the clx 700 sport is kinda available since this is the sport version. But if it's gonna a beginner bike this definitely wins since it is the cheapest 700cc in the market and looks good on women too plus you are getting way too much for the price point

If it is a one person bike, then why do they have rear footrests :-) ? The single disc J Juan unit on the Heritage is not at all bad and indeed I do not think it is under braked in any way. The impression that someone gets from this review, in isolation, is that some how the Heritage has bad brakes, and this is just not the case, in my opinion. J Juan is owned by Brembo, so the brand snobs need not worry and if you have not heard of them just look at Jonathan Rea's leathers for a bit of an endorsement. I have no doubt that the double disc set up could well be better, but not to the oint of implying the Heritage is lacking. Personally speaking I think the lines of the sport do not flow as well, as it looks like the clip ons have been added to a bike that was not really supposed to have them. That is just an opinion, and each to their own. I think that the lack of clearance between the bars and the riders thimb on full lock is a much bigger issue than is being made here, especially as it means removing the ability to operate the horn. If it were my money then I would still personally be buying the Heritage. All that said, I enjoyed the review and I shall look out more the channels videos. Thanks for posting the information.

Thanks for responding. I am a big believer in everyone having a different taste, and opinion, and as long as they are bikes then it is all good by me. Took a quick look at your channel and am loving the smaller bikes that you are testing which are not so popular over here in Europe. I have a lot of motorcycles, far too many, but as I get older I find myself enjoying the smaller bikes more and more. Indeed the bike I have most fun on is an old Yamaha DT125RE, often choosing it over much larger, and more powerful bikes. Also very cool to see you are in The Philippines, which is a place I have some wonderful personal memories of. Keep the videos coming.
