Great vidios! Can you use the batteries for the cfly faith mini on the cfly mini 2.

On the AI tracking I think they need to refine it to where instead of the drone going backwards it should stop and continue to track you while you’re walking pass it or under it like the Potensic Atom does.

I don't know about you, but I wasn't born with eyes in the back of my head. If it only tracks from behind you have to stare at the screen whole time to see what it is doing. Especially without obstacle avoidance, which BTW you shouldn't rely on 100% anyway. Be careful you don't walk into a canyon or under a train. And this is why a correctly programmed follow-me is the only way to go in real life situations. You can have it fly in view and use the sticks if needed. Except of course someone at C-Fly thought it was a good idea to disable the sticks in either follow-me or active-track mode. Same person probably drives a car with no steering wheel also. Again, why is it you drone guys have no understanding about tracking and what works and what doesn't? I guess you never ride bikes or go anywhere. If I were to give you my $130 L109 Pro, you would think it's something from an alien planet. The follow-me feature is how it should be on all drones. It's just a couple lines code in the app. Has zero to do with the price. For active-track you need super cameras and sensors and a fast processor and huge amounts of programming. And when people use it once in real life they quickly find out it doesn't work having to stop a million times to pick it up or to operate the touchscreen. After that they all fly it manually.

@@driewiel Maybe you should work for C-Fly and become a programmer for them being that you know so much about “tracking,” they sure could use you. Hey, you never know, maybe they’ll even reward you with a new C-Fly bike with tracking ability so you can track all of the places you go to and share it.😄

@@DroneSyndrome I wish I knew how to change app sdk's so the follow-me feature does work as it should on others drones. Because when it works perfect on a $130 model, then surely it shouldn't that big a deal. Unfortunately Chinese programmers are all locked up and can't go outside to ride bicycles. If they could they would soon find out their drones suck.

@@DroneSyndromeAnd how many videos of failed attempts do you want to watch with DJI Mini 4 fantastic active-track? If it doesn't fly into a tree people have to go really slow and stop and stop again and again while carrying that smart controller and eyes glued to the impossible touchscreen? They're lucky if they get to the end of the street. It flies exactly at face height going left right up down. It's a wonder nobody has been hit yet. But you have to because hey, that's where active-track needs to be. If you set it above the danger line it will lose you. Yet drone 'experts' only check if they are in the middle of the frame. They do two steps and say yep, it works! Eureka. And if they crash it due to a branch they blame DJI and ask for Care Refresh. If you didn't get he drone for free.

I watched another channels review on the mini 2 and he had issues with it as well! I wonder what phone he’s using?

I just noticed on your screen the the AI follow is legible . On my iPhone 13 it’s jumbled up? The AI and follow are overlapping, I wonder if that’s why I’m having issues using it? I noticed that on the cfly mini 1 as well.

I recently acquired this drone. I am having issues calibrating the compass. It failed on the horizontal compass calibration, I tried ten times. Is there some kind of trick to this horizontal calibration? Did anyone experience similar issues?

Why is it you experts have no clue what kind of tracking is usable and what isn't? All you do is a couple steps and then conclude it works. Well there is a lot more to it. First, why would you need optical tracking if you can only use it in the open field because it doesn't have obstacle avoidance? What's the point? A cheap drone can have a perfect follow-me. But for optical tracking you need a good cameras, fast processor, programming etc. And where is the landscape? If there is only you in the middle of the frame from above you can just as well walk on the parking lot at home. The whole idea is you want video of the surroundings with you somewhere in the frame. The footage is even amateurish going nervously left right left right. Follow-me does a much better job, much more fluent. And you didn't use the sticks. Because you can't. Stick input is disabled. Can't fly it around obstacles or do fly-by's etc either in follow-me or active-track. But at least the app has the all important homepoint update. You drone reviewers never mention that! It's absolutely vital. I can go on and on. I just wish reviewers would understand and show ho good or bad a drone is for hikers and bikers. And that is not a DJI Mini 4 or Skydio. Both are actually pretty useless in real life situations for a whole number of reasons. They're great drones don't get me wrong! But an old used Mavic Mini with Litchi or Maven would do a lot better job.
