He only gets hate from the sociologically deranged mutt nuts who treat their dogs like human children. Sharing beds and ice cream cones with them, and saying "awww how cute" when they are unruly.

I love his shows!! I have learned so many things and it has really helped me be a good pack leader for my Lab

Oh my Lord what he talks as what happen with me me and my little dog that he is such a rescue he was in the kill high kill shelter I adopted him in Chilliwack BC and man he has helped me move through so many things in my life and I to believe that a little dog or any breed dog that you can teach I totally believe that all dogs are good dogs there’s no such thing as a bad dog this is the first time I’m actually listening to this man he is amazing

People are killing easy, also dogs, because people are ignorant. And still they think we own this planet. Well, believe me, we will be very fast instinct here the way we live now. One off the sad thinks is we let suffer other people and animals, like dogs. Dogs can easy safe our life, and what we do? We even eat them! Well, by saying that you can see how stupid we are...

As Cesar said, it could come from excitement or anxiety. Which one is your dog? A calm dog wouldn't probably lick a lot. And you accomplish this by exercising them. You also have to be firm and let your dog know what you want and what you don't want.

Dogs mimic what we do in front of them. If we’re excited most of the time, guess What? The dog will be excited most of the time. When I get home, I open the door and out comes all of my dogs, very excited to see me, and they relieve themselves. The excitement lasts for as long as you want it to last. Once we have our time outside, inside is a new different ball game. I calm down and relax, and my dogs pick up on that. If they don’t, I help the dog bring down his excitement. How? I sit on the floor and pet him, remember, I want that dog relaxed, so I don’t make any sudden movements, and I might give him a treat, and just talk to him. I then get up, and if the dog continues that anxiety level as he displayed outside, then I take him for a long walk, get him good and tired. Back at the house, the dog all he wants to do is nap which is fine by me. Do this two or three times a week and you’ll see results fast. I have seven dogs, and have the time to take care of them. Most people just don’t take the time, or I guess they just don’t care. If you don’t have the time, why get a dog, unless you keep him outside for “protection” purposes.

Another reason why dogs lick themselves besides insecurity, anxiety is their grooming themselves and more importantly they suffer from allergies specially their paws that sometimes people didn't notice.

Hi ceser i wish i was lovely and have a golden heart 💛. i and my sister we were rescued dogs in dubai, United Arab Emirates and we finding grope that do dog attack each other for money. When we put in news papers and the government or The royal family ask the minsthepalty kill any dog or cat in streets. I came to uk and my sister did not any support and place for the dogs 😕 she is rescued cut and cutting who buy Arab kids they put in cut lots and lots of gule or the cut the cat ears or less and hands or blind them....unfortunately even they are not normal water any where for the animals or even the bird drink .all is high building with shiny lights ✨ but no one think about poor animal's 😢 😔

im a terrible dog owner, my dog gets spoiled so bad im surprised hes not a little shit lmao, everyone tells me hes one of the most laid back nice dogs they've seen. i guess i just have an awesome dog lol

gsoto3i44 dude i was being sarcastic about the first part and actually no i was praising my dog for being a good dog. you know how i said hes not a little shit? hes spoiled because he gets fed well, he has a big house and yard to run around in, as long as hes clean hes allowed on the couches and beds. and even with all that hes still a good dog and he knows our boundaries and things he can do and can;t do. its one thing when i say it about my self sarcastically and when someone else decides to jump in and act like they know all about me from one sentence.

If you truly love dogs? SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR DOG!

Even if one is accepted to either foster a dog or adopt a dog, if one isn't going to walk/exercise a dog or hire someone to do so, please buy a gold fish or hamster. Dogs require exercise, leaving them to roam the back yard isn't helping.

The problem seems to be that people go adopt dogs with a "let's see if this dog fulfills my needs and takes me treating him how ever the fuck I feel like, and then he can stay...for a while" mentally. It's so selfish and stupid.

The reason people think Millan is a great dog trainer is because most of the people dont know anyhting real about dog training. Use your internet.

Sunny the mutt...YALE UNIVERSITY calls Cesar Millan the RENOWNED DOG BEHAVIOR EXPERT, and they have their Canine Cognition Center, so please stop calling Cesar a trainer. He's much more.

Well, many other universities around the world have published manifests against Cesar's methods. He is not even allowed to train dogs in Germany, the only country where you need some official permission and legal requirements to train dogs. Yale people should check better what dog training is all about. In my country, the last dead dictator was still holding some university titles he didnt deserved...
