I had the same Rotel RCD1572MKII It sounded ok but the disc tray is so cheap and thin quality plastic and the remote control is $2.00 piece of junk. I still kept my Rotel RB1582MKII amp and RC 1572 MKII pre amp but I purchased a Marantz SA-10 CD player. It is insane that Rotel ask so much for their CD players and then fit cheap generic US$40.00 disc drive units even though the rest of the player is decent quality and performs well. I don't understand them. @@berniemusic

Even with the poor mic quality those Cerwin Vega's sound like garbage. Why anyone but a rap music fan would want CV's I just don't understand.

What's even worse is using Michi amplification for them it's like putting lipstick on a pig. Absolutely absurd!
