Really good video except one thing. Currently guidance now states that lube shouldn't really be applied. Instead, you can use running water to moisten the speculum. If lube must be used then it should be put around the middle of the speculum and not the tip as shown here. Apparently, it can play havoc with the testing and it shouldn't come into contact with the cervix itself.

Water isn’t nearly as good of a lubricant as lube tho. This must be horrible for those nervous, or first time pap patients who probably need lubricant lmao

Sounds like you're forgetting you're dealing with a living being who is having an external instrument *forced* into their insides. The human body makes natural lubricant *for a reason* Water isn't slippery. It doesn't come close.

Just got mine today for the first time and it hurts like hell lol this video is a scam 😂😂 after that the doctor had another procedure that they will do in which she/he will put their finger inside you and look for large lumps while pressing hard on your lower abdomen circulating their finger inside your V and even hurts more 😭😭😭😭
