Why has the legendary race road bike brand Cervelo got into mountain biking and is their full suspension bike any good? I spent two days testing prototypes in Italy last year to find out the why and the how behind one of this year's hottest, ultralight XCO bikes.

Probably this. 200g lighter, slacker head angle. Cheaper than an Epic Evo too.

I guess it depends on the circuit. If you’re building up from a frame the only difference in weight is the fork so about 300g. Quite a big difference in the official builds though, including no droppers on the 100s 😬
