This was THE record of 1978 for me as far as crowd craziness. I broke this record as the last of a VERY hot special event night with about 700 on the floor, mixed in from the end of Souvinirs, very gradually, very synced up. They'd not heard it before at this club...they went NUTS, and I mean CRAZY nuts. I had two copies, and ran about 25 mins on this, including a phased second break. When then bass line would signal the next verse, screams whistles and hoots came from the floor. Black light and fog during that sexy last break then faders to the MAX, lights and strobes going crazy, and the sub amps were about to melt...clothes were flying, poppers were flying, people were flying...it was sweaty bedlam, and some. I'd never seen that much reaction to a new release up to that time, and never did ever again. I had 2200 watts at my disposal (big power for those times) and I used every last one of them. The scene still gives me chills to this day, and that was April of 1978. WHAT a production!

I never heard of Cerrone until a few days ago, and now I'm catching up on 40 years of missed disco deliciousness.

One of the most underrated and greatest rock disco songs of all time.

No. Doubt. About it. It was club tracks like this that made the disco era unforgettable and a great time for everyone who loved dancing to be alive! I will never let ANYONE get away with saying "all disco music sucked." That's bullshit. Disco was just like any other genre of music...there was crap (most Top 40 disco) and there was tremendous stuff--the club music. I was glad to be a part of it!

Love this version of this song. Back in the 70s played it in the club I just had to buy it. ❤❤❤ We had some great music back then.

Man talking about one of the hottest dance song of the 70 i was also a dj and saw 800 to1500 dancing to this and iits like the scene of the club from scarface just awesome qualudes coke and popers on the dance floor people sweating there dancing ass off .and if you were not ther you missed it cause it will never comeback hahahahahahaha just chills of splendor thinking about it .
