Meet Cerrick. Due to his father's career in the military, Cerrick moved around frequently as a kid. He was born in Louisiana, lived in Germany for 4-5 years, spent some time in Texas and finally ended up in Utah. He currently works for a healthcare services company and enjoys 'crunching data'. In his free time, Cerrick loves spending time with his family and friends and volunteers regularly at the Utah Food Bank and for the Human Rights Campaign. Cerrick is all about positivity and being a better person everyday.
During his interview, Cerrick shares his journey of self-discovery; going from almost becoming a pastor and accepting a scholarship for religious education to living an openly gay and authentic lifestyle. Although he has made mistakes throughout his life, Cerrick still abides by his mother's advice to "make sure you can live with yourself at the end of the day." He also goes on to share his wisdom about embracing the traits that make us all unique and being okay with our own differences.
