People not in it for the right reasons will find it easier to get away 3. Teachers are responsible for making sure that students are engaged and so that te student will be more intentional about their AI usage

The problem is that AGI will be here really soon (probably within 5 years) at that point there would be no point (economically) attaining an education. You'd be unemployable since you cant compete against an AI.

I think we need to ask what is an education for, in the future? What does the future of production and services look like? If we can get our minds around that a little better, it'll be easier to devise a more meaningful curriculum and educational experience. Even with Khan Academy (which I think is AMAZING), I think it is still operating under an old idea of what education is for.

Hey Pink Lady, 💯👏👏 When you use AI, whether it’s GPT or any other AI, you are learning just like a child. Do you learn? Absolutely. Every time I sit in front of AI, I feel like a 5-year-old compared to its knowledge, and yes, I learn a lot. For example, I had been putting off learning MySQL, thinking it would take weeks. With AI, I learned it in just 4 hours. People need to stop asking if children really learn from AI. Instead, they should reflect on their own experiences because we’re all learners in front of AI. The key to raising kids is to give them autonomy to build self-esteem and discover their own paths. Children should be teaching teachers how to use AI and demonstrating how it makes them smarter. They need to work together, not under a strict, punitive approach. Using AI isn’t cheating; it’s learning. We need to remove the stigma around words like "cheating" and "plagiarism" in the context of AI. Let’s embrace how AI can enhance our learning experiences.

I’ve depended on Khan Academy and I admire this man, but let’s move on. Personal tutor for every student? Why not replace them and convert real teachers into classroom sitters? Each student is taught in a personalized fashion and the classroom sitters aids with human support as needed, since it’ll take some time for human to allow ai to teach their kids.

for all its glory, AI is not able to discern context and only good at specific things but not complexity as humans do. it has a hard time pivoting and when it goes down the wrong rabbit hole it cant get back out. thats hard for humans too but we can. it must be told what to do (and hopefully should stay that way). AI "can do better and faster" is not fact. its true in many specific things but not in everything, not even in general.
