I think this is part 2 of another drama. I wish that singing as background music could be lost because it over powers the dialogue. Also, this sequel shows what’s in the ML’s heart because even with memory loss he’s still very cruel to FL. Why would she go back to such a sadistic person?

He deserves someone better of course. And she needs to be seen by a neurologist and a psychiatrist because I think she must have brain damage from all the abuse. Or has a masochism fetish? she lacks self respect and self love to get back with a man who has, aside from the physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, repeatedly treated her with zero respect as a woman and as a partner. Everything is always on HIS terms. He thinks that he gets to make all of the decisions. The fact that she is delusional enough to “love” him just sends the misogynistic message that women are trapped by love and have to go back To their abusers. She can love him but decide to NOT be with him because she realizes he is bad for her. That she deserves better than him. Also why couldn’t she meet a new man other than the ML and 2ML? Someone who has never and will never hurt her? Someone she can meet and fall in love with… she has more than these two options!

I hate the way they wrote the 2ML. there was a desperate need to get the ML with FL so she couldn't have her turned down a "perfect" 2ML. The 2nd ML like you said deserved better ( if the roles were reversed we would be screaming at the female for been desperate, run!} But we know these shows always make the 2FL crazy for love and 2ML the knight. The woman is always the crazy love brain. They really made him an almost man. I guess its better than some of the other writings, where he becomes an arse too. I think she was the FL in another one and 2ML was a dick to her. At the point about FL always going back to an option and not herself...apparently we (the 98% female audience) turn our tv off if the FL doesnt end up with someone and can even cause a show to flop. Not sure where different people watch these shows, i guess theres an escapism to this. You want the fantasy of true love as real life can be shit. Just not convinced about going back to abusers is the happy ending people are looking for??😮

Why the tears? Hopefully not for this piece of crap male lead. Maybe for the female lead and her son (although they have written her as a pathetic woman who lacks any self love or self respect, and doesn’t even seem to want to protect her innocent son from the abusive monster she knows her ex husband to be). But the male lead has shown over and over that he is scum. Whether he has his memories or not, his first choice is violence and abuse: physical, sexual, and emotional. To his wife, to his own mother, even to an innocent little boy (he only changed when he discovered the boy was his biological child). Why waste years on him? Because he is good at pretending to have feelings? 😂😂😂 good psychopaths and narcissistic abusers fake feelings all the time!

This broke my heart the second lead so adorable and very handsome crying my eyes out well done writers first season was brutal so I'm glad you reined in the violence towards women in the second part

I have binge watched a ton of cdramas. This is the most satisfying one. These are for entertainment. So many dramas out there with horribly abusive ml and then the stab in the back and all is forgiving. I hope you watched the drama leading up to this one where the ml was an terrifying gangster and the 2ml was the wonderful giving long eyelashed hero. The fl is a good fit being stubbornly forgiving and not a whining victim. I cried for the first time through both movies. The acting of all was amazing not making me want to leave in frustration. The ml showed everyone his true repentance. Isn’t this that is needed always. The fact the 2ml knew what needed to happen confirms this. The English translation hard to follow but certainly not the worst I’ve had to decipher. Letting the ending be real about him still having to win over the parents and the humorous interaction of the 3 of them made it more enjoyable. The best so far!😢😁

I’m sorry, the female lead showed “stubborn forgiveness”? Or it is “stupid forgiveness”? This male lead got how many chances and he always goes back to hurting her and then expects one more chance. Over and over. I don’t believe for one minute that he won’t eventually go back to abusing her and maybe his son the next time he gets angry-especially because he knows that he can literally abuse her as badly as he wants and she wooo always take Him back. Because she lacks any sort of self respect. He spent time getting revenge upon “all the people who hurt her” except for himself. He barely ever gave her a single apology much less actually showed that he knew he was wrong when he: raped her, choked her, sold her to another man who almost raped her and then beat her nearly to death. (Anyone else remember him saying “you can’t die because I’m not yet done torturing you”? I remember.). He treated an innocent little boy like scum until he discovered the boy was his own biological son - which just shows what a crap human he is. He seems to excuse all of this behavior because he believed the lies told by the evil mistress. It doesn’t matter if he believed her lies! No decent human being would act the way he did! Ask yourself, what lies would you have to believe to physically, sexually, and verbally/emotionally abuse someone you claim to love? I hope the answer is that you would never rape, beat, choke, and spit upon someone you love even if you believed lies about them! This male lead had no problem abusing the woman he pretended to love. (You know, because he didn’t actually love her.) Also; he is extremely controlling and self centered. Everything is what HE wants. He never treated her as an equal partner but rather as something he owned and controlled. When he discovers that he needs a surgery with a 10% chance, he unilaterally makes the decision to break her heart (that she finally happened to him) and reject her “for her own good”. That’s not what someone who actually respects beer partner does. He did not in the past and does not now care about what SHE wants-only what he himself wants. Unfortunately, knowing what I do about abusive relationships and narcissistic men and psychopaths, I cannot believe he has actually changed. Ok also tired of the ridiculous message that women can only ever love one man in their life and that no matter how poorly he treats her, she has to accept it and love him and forgive him over and over. (Ps. Why did she ever start loving him at all? When was he not a monster to her?). For me to believe he had a true change of heart, I would like to see him be betrayed and hurt (physically and emotionally) by someone he loves dearly. Could be the female lead or better still, someone else. So he could get a small taste of what he out her through. Instead we get a drama where in both parts 1 and 2 it is the female lead who suffers 99% of the time. And the male lead gets maybe 5% suffering? Nah.

I just could not bear to watch the whole movie because my heart hurts so much!!! And why is the FL So submissive?!! Is that really what happens when you love? But you can only take “so much”, and then you become numb, and don’t feel anything anymore… that is the reaction of a normal human.

Shu Tong is a great actor …and some great eye candy! Can’t beat that combo.

These two ML and FL played their roles well.Part 1 makes me so angry with the ML this part 2, I feel sad for him.I have no complain,he deserves all those things! This drama is not for the weak hearts there. I never thought this made me cry. I mustered the courage to watch the part 1 despite those negative reviews and I had no regrets.The script is not for everyone's liking but I appreciate the actors effort.I'm entertained in a way that this gives my emotion a roller coaster ride😂

A full redemption arc for the ML. Wow. He did a 180. Okay maybe not entirely. He kept a little bit of that bad boy. But that newfound serenity with which he carried himself in his rebirth was full of 帅气. Shu Tong is a wonderful actor indeed. His pairing with this actress is terrific. I've seen a few of their dramas already and they are obviously very comfortable with each other. Their chemistry is absolutely pitch perfect. I would have been okay if An An did fall for A'Feng and the two of them went off together but no one should marry a person who is in love with someone else. All the second guessing and doubts will end up destroying the marriage. Besides it was obvious she was just using him to move on. A'Feng dodged a bullet there. True, she could fall for him later. But it's 50-50. For me A'Feng was a good man... the better man in fact... but Siyan is the more complex and interesting character. He was a very conflicted soul who was incapable of reconciling his head and his heart.

The acting is SO FREAKING GOOD!!! Palpable chemistry between the leads ❤

The best lead couple of the genre.....I want a remake of "here to heart" with this cast

The FL once said that the 2nd ML wont bully her & repeated abandoning her like the 1st ML did to her. And at that time the ML was just crying, realizing his sins. Even after they got married, FL's parents was disagree. You know, whose parents in this world wanted their daughter live with a man who had been known bullied their daughter for years?? But the ML deserve to get treated like that, i think it is not that cruel compared with how suffered the FL for 9 yrs..

Yes!! He barely suffered at all and certainly not nearly as much as she suffered because of him! He didn’t even realize how wrong he was by himself. He had to be told by his mother! It would have been much better if he had remembered how horribly he treated her and hated himself with each memory. Instead he gets to have “memory loss” so he doesn’t have to remember ever time he raped her or slapped her or choked her. Etc. meanwhile, SHE has to live with all of the horrible memories for the rest of her life.

FL get too shaken when she's around the ML. I don't like seeing her so hesitant and unsure. She wants to forget him but is yearning to be close to him, is concerned about him and let's him touch her. There is no reason in the business worlds to hold your business partners' hands and let them pull you. And certainly no reason to be this close to them when talking. People need their personal space. If she wants to move on, she needs to be firm with him, no talking about personal issues, never be alone with him (she's a major designer and she can have an assistant measure her ex for instance) and mostly tell him to stay away. Why can't these females say" NO!" ?

Glad i found part 2 I looked for awhile & finally gave up. Then it just randomly popped up. Yay I like the ending

I see the love (very well acted) that he has for her. And I see how he realizes his actions toward her and how she has been affected. He truly feels contrite about his part in it. Maybe the head injury or operation had something to do with his changes…but I agree, don’t go back.

If you mean that a violence sadistic abuser is meant to be with a masochistic woman who allows, encourages and accepts abuse, then yes- they are definitely meant to be tougher. After all, it’s not like he has shown her, repeatedly and over many years, that he always goes back to being abusive and controlling. (Oh wait, he has shown her that! 😂). The saddest part is that her son is likely going to grow up to be an abuser like his father because he is going to learn from his fathers’s example that it is only what the man wants that matters and women must forgive the man no matter How horrible they are.

Does anyone else understand the brain dead scriptwriters who want us to believe that this male lead KNOWS he has had amnesia and still basically is verbally abusive to the female lead the instant she shows up? Guess they just shows what is in his disgusting black heart. His automatic response is ALWAYS abuse: verbal, physical, and sexual. He has not changed after his illness and memory loss. Still exactly the same. How sad that they write this female lead to be so pathetic as to continue going back to a man who always makes the choice to hurt when he is given the option.

Loved ❤ this drama part 2. ML became a responsible man. The lawyer 2ML gave up the very pretty FL. 2ML knew if you love someone, sometimes you have to let the person leave you because you want them to be the happiest they can be regardless of your heart ache.❤. Disappointing in that the only consistent theme of this two part drama is that the female lead suffers. She suffers when her husband abuses her (physically, sexually, and verbally) throughout their marriage, she suffers in the 3-5 years she was away from him and raising her son by herself, she suffers more when she comes back and he treats her even worse than before (and treats her son horribly too), then she suffers again when he decides to emotionally manipulate her and again break her heart and reject her “for her own good”, and now she is suffering because with his memory loss he is just as verbally and physically abusive as ever-yelling at her and slapping her within the first few minutes of this pathetic drama. All they are showing us is that whether this male lead has memory loss or not, whether he believes the evil mistress’ lies or knows the truth-all he ever does is hurt her. Because he CHOOSES to! I’m tired of watching this particular female lead keep saying she “loves” the man who raped her and strangled her and sold her to another man to rape and beat her! A man who barely gave her a single “I’m sorry”. A man who never takes responsibility for his actions. And a female lead who delusionally believes him when he says he loves her despite knowing exactly how he has repeatedly treated her. These dramas need to be better!

I wish had known this was part 2 of this story before I watched. I was wondering why certain things didn’t make sense. He isn’t the worst ML I’ve seen, but I couldn’t take him back. When she was poor, I understood that she was forced to stay. After going back to my rich family, there is no way that I could forgive either him or his mother. Even if she did the things they thought, they were beyond cruel and inhumane. I could never be with someone who could treat another human that way. Also, I can never understand why they find it acceptable to have someone raped and recorded as a punishment. An eye for an eye and the whole world would be blind. Put that evil witch in jail, the mom and the trash husband too. I wish we could have seen a happy ending for the best person in the show, the man who gave her back to the trash ex husband . Couldn’t agree more. This male lead is a psychopath. And if anyone deserved and eye for and eye it would be he HIMSELF! He just likes to blame everyone else for his own choices and actions. As you said-good human beings would never treat another like he treated her. She should have put him in jail for all of his abuse. But apparently that would interfere with the relentless misogynistic message of these dramas that women should accept abuse and interpret it as “love”. 🤮🤮🤮 And of course he thinks nothing of having the evil mistress raped on tape. He himself raped the female lead and has never apologized. I doubt he ever thinks he was wrong. He’s a psychopath after all!

I watched other chinese dramas, but this drama made me cried my heart out.. salute to the writer and to the cast they give justice to their characters. I would like to commend the FL and ML and the second leads. They are really good.

Maybe. 53:28 I mean he “suffers” from hearing from his mother how horrible he was to the female lead but let’s all remember that in part 1 even when he found out the truth he was hardly as devastated as he seems to be here. The sad part is that he inflicted so much pain on the female lead and never took responsibility or showed true remorse in the entire first part! Why should it take his mother laying it all out for him to realize he was a disgusting abusive piece of sh!t? Is he not self aware?

😂😂😂 delusional evil man thinks he deserves to live happily ever after with the woman he raped, abused, and emotionally tormented FOR YEARS. And brain damaged female lead accepts back a man who has shown over and over and over that he is not only capable of violence but that it is his first choice every time! Let’s not forget that this drama starts out with this man having memory loss and immediately resorting to verbal abuse to her and his own mother. Because that is exactly what kind of a person he is deep down. I feel the most sad for the little boy who is going to grow up thinking that women can/should be treated like trash. That’s the lesson his mother is allowing him to have.

Sometimes? I’d say 95% of the time this actor (male lead) chooses to play the role of the toxic and abusive man. Too bad neither of them feel it is worth their time to depict anything close to a healthy relationship but would rather continue the misogynistic propaganda that women need to accept abuse from men in the relationship.

Tienen muy mal entendido lo que se llama "romance" en una relación de pareja!! Fue aberrante todo lo que le hizo a su esposa por dimes y diretes de gente mal intensionada. Tan poderoso para cobrar venganza y no buscar pruebas de lo supuestamemte malo que haya hecho su mujer...simplemente la torturaba y humillaba de la peor manera. Hay mucha decadencia en lo que respecta al trato y respeto al género femenino.

Finally.. a mini series that gives more than one minute happy ending.. I was smiling hard. ❤

I can't watch Part 1....I can't handle his evilness and extreme abuse towards her.....the amount of beatings and humiliation he put her through, just looking at the flashbacks alone, as well as reading people's comments, made me sick to my stomach...,

@@rcheck1008thank you! People who only watch part 2 think “oh, well, he apologized so she should take him back”. 🙄 No. He was the worst kind of toxic and abusive man. He was arrogant, controlling, completely self centered and admitted that he wanted to torture her! He raped her. He slapped and choked her. He humiliated and demeaned her. He treated her innocent son horribly. He sold her to another man to rape and who beat her nearly to death! Even if he believed the evil mistress’s lies-he had no excuse for his behavior. He also was so stupid as to not bother confirming the truth before abusing and torturing her. He never once respected her and never in part 1 gave her any sort of real apology or showed true remorse (except in her dream sequence!). But now that he conveniently has memory loss, he is off the hook for it all? He couldn’t realize how wrong he was in part 1 but now that his mother explained how horrible he was in part 2 he’s suddenly to all changed? 😂😂😂 Frankly I wish that the female lead had the memory loss and forgot *everything* about the male lead and his abuse and went on to live her life happily ever after with her son and maybe the 2ML. The idea that you can only love one man in your life (and still love him no matter how abusive he is) is a lie that we need to stop telling women!

Well, the male lead always chooses to hurt the female lead. Always chooses to reject her love. Always chooses to be verbally and physically abusive. Even without his memory he is immediately abusive! This just shows what is deep in his heart. Also, please remember in part one that all of the parts near the end with him being kind and gentle and apologetic to him were HER DREAM SEQUENCE and did not happen! He has never truly apologized nor even tried to atone for how he treated her in the past. (And her, here she is with her undying “love” that gives only him-does not even love her self or her son enough to want a better life and a respectful partner. How sad. )

I have to add this the camera angel become more more good, i applause for this one 🙌🙌

Wish I could watch this somewhere else the subtitles go in and out a lot smh..on that note this ML is by far my favorite ML I’ve seen in any of these short C dramas I’ve seen him in a couple other C dramas his Acting is top tier he’s easy on the eyes as well so handsome

I liked every single cdrama that these FL & ML are in. Their chemistry is so good. Whether its a serious drama or romcom, they just have the chemistry that some actors do not have.

Doy gracias por esta segunda parte que hizo un buen cierre de la primera. Son grandes actores y esto hizo que la segunda parte valiera la pena verla, porque en otras versiones cuesta creer que la FL perdonara tan fácil tanta maldad al protagonista masculino. Aquí el buscó enmendar, pidió perdón y se vio su cambio. De verdad esta pareja tienen tanta química y miestran que se aman que tú piensas que merecen otra oportunidad. Me gustó la valentía para enfrentar su pasado del que no tenía culpa por estar esclavizada y que podía resurgir con su talento.👏👏

Yes. And I feel sorry for her and her son because she goes back to her abusive ex. I don’t believe for a second that this male lead has truly changed. Next time he bumps his head and he will default to violence because that is just who he is deep down. Everything about this drama reinforces that.

Of the whole genre...all dramas combined....it's the only apology worthy of consideration
