He should have sent her to jail if he did care for his wife more... But, he didn't. He was way more lenient to the ex than to his wife. The wife deserves a lot better than him.

Unless I missed it, I don't even remember thanking his wife for her successful design. As an employee, she should at least get a "thank you" from her employer on top of which he took his wife off the program without explaining the reason why, even during their confrontation when wife was divorcing him. His friend even told him to explain. What a great man, indeed.

I agree. He seems to still be in love with the EX and not the wife. The wife had major reasons to leave and stay gone he is pitiful and I don't like him or his actions in this plot. He constantly gave breaks to the EX. Above and beyond the call of duty. He disappointed me greatly in his actions.

Luli intentaba comunicarse con él, pero él siempre estaba cerrado y el asunto con Li Man era privado y el le recordaba cada vez el contrato que ninguno se metería en la vida privada del otro. Un que él si se metía, no dejaba que ella mencione sus asuntos personales

I've seen this attitude in recurring dramas, where a person who was lying or who committed some evil act, is found out and instead of being apologetic, they become offended that the person who they lied to didn't trust them. This is weird, they're offended because the person didn't trust them, even though they were in fact untrustworthy. Odd.

What gets me is the fact that she had stolen from him and screwed him over before, she comes back and she becomes trustworthy really. Everyone in the office knew what she was doing had warned him even his best friend and his mama but he chose to believe her. She hurts herself on purpose he goes running to her his wife is in danger calls him several times and he doesn't answer the phone. He acts like what he did was perfectly fine but waits and then gets angry because she didn't call him really she did call several times glad his best friend told him off. Has anyone else noticed that in every drama this man is in he's in a new relationship and the ex will show up to cause problems? And he always goes sniffing up the butt of the ex, then something happens to the new relationship then again he acts so innocent and wants to know why the new wife/girlfriend wants out. Most wives/girlfriends don't want a ex in the relationship so you make a choice the old or new.

Yep he let the ex off way too easy. The wife did not get the same treatment he made her feel like the bottom of his shoes. The ex is pure evil and he still didn't punish her the way he did his wife he's way too nice to her.

Of course she did. He only gave her a slap on her hand. I would send her to jail and blacklist her in the industry just like how she wanted that for old ape in earlier episodes.

Even after getting the evidence showing what the ex did and that his wife was right he still keeps her. He asks her to leave instead of going directly to those that needed to know he gives her a choice, but he didn't give his wife anything. Actually wanted her to apologize to the ex but he didn't tell her to apologize to his wife. He tells the ex he doesn't know who she is anymore he didn't know her before either. She screwed him over 2 times but he still let's her off.

What gets me is the pure gall, after all she got caught doing so much evil, to still sit there in front of him and say "Did you invite me here because you plan to forgive me?" A normal person would have trouble looking at themselves in the mirror, let alone face the person you screwed over. Not only did she show up, but automatically assumed she was to be forgiven.

True. I have been married 21 years and several relationships prior. This would never happen to me or my hubby. We might not talk about it but just squash the rumours and fake people then tell the partner later. A real life female would not put up with that if she loved herself. Once is enough and bags are packed, love yourself. All this male-bashing in the comment section is unbelievable. The fictional situation is that of someone he has known a long time and his wife who potentially be a gold digger. So even if you love her you are going to give some loyalty to your childhood friend.

Fellow viewers this ML was deceived firstly by his ex-girlfriend who stole from him and his business. The wife deception was she pretended to be a man to be hired in his business, and also put him through hell by him being attracted to her (a man), he started to question his sexuality. Also he took his wife for granted, because he believed she and his mother tricked him into marriage. The ex-girlfriend knows how to manipulate him because she was with him a longer time than the wife. It is plain to see how immature this ML is by his jealous behaviour towards his wife when other males shows any interest in Lu Li, also he is self absorbed. Lu Li was loving him for over five years, but he did not acknowledge her even when she gave him ideas about creating new games. She use to write on line and always ask him to wait for her-- he did not. I like the fact that she did not take him back when he found her(she make him sweat).

Definitivamente, una elegía al protagonista narcisista, casi psocópata abusador y triangulador; una heroína dócil sometida, débil adorando al narcisista y dejándose pisotear por él, otra mujer malvada enemiga de la mujer, una relación triangulada y absolutamente tóxica. No aportan a la salud mental del público, no creo que eso pueda ser un entretenimiento saludable. Yo la ví con el ojo crítico que tengo, pero no todos los televidentes la ven de ese modo.

Agreed 100%. Letting her get off that easy for actually 3 crimes should be forefront in Mr. Jiang's mind. The stolen source code for Sanctuary 3 yrs ago from his company causing almost bankruptcy and his accident that allowed her to further her studies abroad is her doing otherwise how will the source code disc end up on her dining table. Her father and liman put up an act for that. Then the deleted demo caused a lawsuit to be filed against his wife on top of being shamed in front of this witch. Then there's the accident that if investigated fully will connect to her too. I wonder what the in laws will think about all this information coming to light knowing they almost lost a grand child because of this woman and her father.

I really loved the drama....One of the best dramas i have watched 😊 Like Everyone said someproblems in thus drama can be solved with 5 minute talk .... But they had a contract that they will not interfere in each other's personal life ....

Btw, it's the part of their contract which he violates almost every time he notices her being friendly with their coworkers, while never thinking that it might be just as annoying (if not more) and even humiliating for his wife to see him being the only person on the mind of his ex whenever she needs something and him playing a good friend with his ex (who btw has admitted that she views him more than a friend and would like to rekindle their love).

Right they had a contract and also in the beginning of the story when the ML is just starting to have feelings for the FL he was forced and rush so I kind of understand the ML here coz though he hate his ex there is still a lingering feeling as it was his first love and the wedding of the ML and FL is almost the same time when the bitch ex comes back so ofcourse the ML's feelings for the FL will be like push aside coz first they are just starting and he barely knows her they don't have that "foundation for a relationship" should have, it's seems like his feelings for the FL is now taken for granted for his past feelings with his bitch ex, and it makes him endenial, and he was easy to manipulate as well because of the lingering feelings, and acts as if it was okay, coz real talk sometimes if u really love someone wholeheartedly, no matter mistake or sin that person make u still forgive and accept coz that's how love is, so yeah I kind of understand him. So yeah that's how I see his character here he was not able to distinguish his feelings for his wife and bitch ex, until his wife left him, coz ofcourse regret is always at the end of the story.

Finally with his reflection and not being late Jiang wakes up. His employees love the vibe of Luli. Jiang realize that Li Man was all for destruction and wanted to win him back but now Jiang have to work hard to find Luli.

From the beginning Liman never denied that she came back for him. How he cannot see her scheme even as his friend, his own sister and mother told him to sever his ties with her is beyond me. He keeps denying he is involved but he is, more than he gives attention and respect to the woman he married, even if it is a "paper" marriage, as he pointed out.

What the hell was up with Li Man saying that if his wife had cared enough to clear her name she would have stayed? WTF?! Sorry hussy, she cared about her health and child more. Wow?! And he let her off with a slap on the wrist and a choice..Lu Li got the shaft. She left pregnant, heart broken, and unemployed to a new city with her dignity and name in tatters. Somehow that lucky lady found a new boss that was willing to go along and play tricks on the hubby for revenge. She never meant to return or tell hubby about the kid. Whatever tricks they played were meant to drive him away, not as a test of his love. She saw what that was worth..nothing. She just wanted peace and quiet to have her child and raise them by herself. Her boss was using the tricks as a test, not her. Neither he nor Leming were love interests, just good friends. This ML deserves a good beat down and Li Man should have been girl beat down as well. That pitiful act is just that...pitiful. Glad she left. He needed a rude awakening.

Hell yeah! I was thinking the same. Jiang and his ex need to have some knockouts to understand the consequences of their actions. Jiang mistreated Lu Li after everything she did for him, both as his employee and his wife. The ex-girlfriend needs to be fired, arrested, any form of misfortune in her life after what she did to the two. Hell, I’ll volunteer to beat their pathetic a$$es. Jiang needs to understand that messing with his past lover will get back at him.

A witch slap wouldn't have been enough, but it wouldn't of at least been something of compensation. She's not 5 years old! Sheesh!

Yes!! This series did a great job with that episode where she says she wants a divorce. (Also very well acted!) and I love that he takes multiple episodes to find her and more episodes to try to earn back her trust and love. I hate when the neglected and wronged spouse just forgives in one episode. We really get to see him work in himself, get some insights, and have to work to win her back.

I love this drama and also watched "you are my destiny" .....both are my favorite ❤❤❤❤❤

Według mnie Yichen przekroczył bardzo daleko granice wyznaczone dla więzi jako partnera biznesowego i przyjaciółki. Jest na każde zawołanie Li Man 24 godziny na dobę i 7 dni w tygodniu. Lu Li nie liczy się w tym związku, nie ma dla niej czasu i zrozumienia oraz nie ufa jej. Pozwala na sytuacje, w których Lu Li czuje się niekomfortowo. Very true. It is not luli who mixes personal and business affairs as liman accused. It is liman who uses her professional connection to her personal motives. The sad part is that the husband was blinded by all this. Not only does he yells at his wife, but he also shames her in front of the ex and calling her names. Actually, in my opinion luli is even more intelligent than yicheng.

Não gostei deste dorama... não concordo com o final. O cara humilha a mocinha, faz com que ela peça desculpas sem investigar o caso, tira o projeto dela e passa pra outra, abandona a esposa e vai socorrer a " falsa amiguinha ". Faz amor com a esposa totalmente bêbado e ainda fala o nome que podia ser da outra pela manhã ainda sonolento... Me poupe... Ninguém merece tanta humilhação... Antes de amar alguém é fundamental se amar... pra mim esta personagem tem a auto estima muito baixa!!! Sinto muito... eu não perdoava de jeito nenhum... partia pra outro que me respeitasse e me valorizasse. Madre Tereza existiu só uma!

You hit the right vibe on Liman "SOCIAL STATUS" to uplift her abysmal upbringing as Yicheng's mother pointed out 3 yrs ago when he got into an accident looking for this ex. It may sound prejudicial for the mother to say that but so far her instinct is not wrong. She did not meddle with her son while he was with the ex 3 yrs ago but after the accident and almost bankruptcy from the loss of the source code, she had to say her piece.

Li Mann did all those things to ruin his marriage and he still protected Li Mann. I wouldn't take him back. His concerns are NOT with hi wife. He is clearly protecting another woman, whether he is sexually active with her or not. His wife has to fend for herself, pregnant. This confused little boy does not deserve his wife at all.

No se da por vencida, porque él siempre estuvo alentándola, dándole esperanzas, nunca quiso poner las cosas claras con ella. Tal vez pensaba volver con ella después de liberarse de la dependencia financiera de sus padres y efectivizar su divorcio con Lu Li. Cuando ella se quemó a propósito él estuvo a su lado hasta llevarla a su casa. Ahí Li Man le dijo a él, todavía te preocupas por mí verdad? Estuviste conmigo todo el día, ni siquiera cenaste, solo faltó que él entre a su casa. Un mínimo de pudor y de conciencia, le impidieron quedarse con ella esa noche. Cómo va darse por vencida si Lu Li dejó a Yichen por infiel? Tenía mucha oportunidad de recuperarlo. Solo que la salida de Lu Li tuvo un efecto contrario para ella, pues a Yichen le dio un ataque de conciencia y quiso averiguar quién estuvo involucrado en el accidente de Luli y se enteró que fue engañado como un niño de 3 añitos. Eso la puso en desventaja.

Yes, although he says he owes her a clear name, still he's way too soft towards his ex. She had to pay for all her crimes and not simply walk away unpunished. Even if it was nothing but deleted files, because of her actions a lot of work had to be redone and company resources got wasted. She had to compensate physical and moral harm caused to Lu Li as well as the otherwise unnecessary financial and workforce spendings.

Por todo eso creo que Yichen sabe que esta vida no le va alcanzar para reparar ese daño causado a Lu Li por él mismo y por Li Man a causa de él, y va dedicar su vida a compensarla y protegerla como le prometió. Pero también creo que él no se olvidó totalmente de su historia con Li Man, le perdonó cosas que a nadie más perdonaría. Cuando supo que había desaparecido el juego en el servidor de Lu Li, se enojó la vociferó la culpó y le dijo que estaba decepcionado de ella. Cuando supo que fue Li Man quién destruyó el juego de Lu Li, solo puso su cara de culpable. Pero ni se enojó, ni la recriminó ni la culpó, incluso cuando ella le confesó que había marcado con lápiz labial su camiseta, tampoco se enojó, solo le dolió saber lo que hizo, pero no la culpó, aún sabiendo que Luli sufrió mucho por esas acciones de Li Man, tal vez porque todo lo hacía por él? O él todavía tenía sentimientos por ella? Por lo menos hasta ese momento parece que sí.

Sí Li Man fue genial. Usó en su favor la debilidad del hombre por ella, las finanzas y la falta de astucia de Lu Li, además ella no conocía bien a Yichen. Lu Li trató de confrontarla, pero cómo puede ella luchar, si el tipo está marcadamente en poder de la otra mujer?. Luli siempre estuvo en desventaja. Y no quería darse cuenta que sus batallas estaban perdidas antes de empezar. Al final ella le dijo a él que todo estuvo mal desde el principio, no estamos en la misma longitud de onda y esa es una realidad que no puedo cambiar por mucho que lo intente, porque él estaba en sintonía con Li Man, por eso Lu Li no pudo sintonizar con Yichen. Peto la muy terca no quería admitirlo hasta que casi pierde a su bebé.

Hay si, igual que en la otra novela de You Are My Destiny, la ex provocó que la esposa perdiera su bebé y aún así ni recibío su merecido, más bien le pusieron una historia tristona de su niñez y el muchacho lindo que ayudaba a la protagonista termino siendo el hermano mayor perdido de la malvada y solo por eso de repente ya es perdonada. Me hubiera gustado que terminara muy mal, por lo menos en la cárcel

@@xq3263 yeah, but she has to make money, there are so many actresses out there in China, and they are always competing for roles, the only actors with the Luxury to decline are most famous ones, like Dilraba, Lusi, Bai Lu, Yang Mi, Yang Zi, ect. The other ones are grinding for roles so they can showcase their skills and make a living, in the hopes of one day some director somewhere will say "hey that actress is really good, call her up and see if she's interested in this lead script"
