I always knew Kola was a great player but my god did he step it up this game I don't think I've ever seen him play better than this

Yep, CEO 2021 Kola was crazy

Game 3 was played so well by Kola. When Kazuya and Roy are one character space away, Kola mixes Riddles using either Rising Nair or back dash. Since nair is un-reactable it forces Riddles to press an attack preemptively. Kola takes note of this and back dashes to punish Riddles preemptive attacks. On top of that, Kola had an oppressive advantage state and matched Riddles Kazuya in damage output. (I’m kinda gushing, I’m sorry I love some good Ultimate) Kola was fearless. Asserting his aggression early, it forced Riddles to respect him going into game 2. KOLA DASH DANCES IN THE CORNER IN FRONT OF KAZUYA because of this. It’s the confidence and rush down pressure that won Kola this match. I can’t wait to see how Riddles responds next time.

The reason Kola won this was his ledge trapping. I think he caught about 3/4ths of Riddles options off ledge, no exaggeration. The Kola CEO powerup is real

Kola by far is the most explosive character in smash.

god kazuyas advantage is so insanely strong and his disadvantage is so abysmally bad, such a weird character to watch. its like hes never in or out of the lead.

Kola cool and all, but from this set out Riddles gameplay downgraded hella. Combos dropping everywhere, mindless side Bs, slow reaction = too many whiffed grabs.
