Central MN Pond Racing - Race on Trace 2023

There are a lot of snowmobile racing circuits in the snow belt, and this is one of them - ice racing oval league, Central Minnesota Pond Racing. This is a mid-season race for them called Race on Trace, held on Trace Lake in Grey Eagle, MN. The race was held on February 18, 2023, and turned out to be a beautiful day on the ice. I managed to film a few of the heat races, just to expose viewers to what this kind of racing is.

Grass roots racing is alive and well!
When were those twin track sleds last raced by the factories? Also was that Arctic Cat sled in the thumb nail a twin track sled? As you can tell I always thought those twin track sleds were amazing.

No twin tracks on Trace, as far as I know. Not sure if those are raced anywhere in Minnesota, but I wish they were! Those are really cool!

@@ponycarfan thank you for responding. Even the sleds you have in the video seem as fast or faster than what they now seem to race on ovals (production based sleds).
