Yes, they're great. Just hope they maintain them, (as in replace bulbs that fail). Just hope they maintain everything to a high standard. It's beautiful, but maintenance is key.

Awesome video... again. My last 5 days in Thailand I stayed on Soi 10 just to be near this park, because of your and Cris' videos about it. Due to a foot injury I didn't get to walk very much of it, just the lake area and the Green Mile. I'm so bummed I didn't get to do this portion. You have opened my eyes to many cool things in BKK. Thanks for the videos.

Give it at lease two to three years for the trees to grow and all the plants, this place will be a small forest in central Bangkok. Can't wait to visit in April 2022.

I think that once it is officially opened bicycles will be allowed. But by january the connection to the Green lung will not be open yet I think.

When those trees are fully grown up, it is going to be amazing. Lumpini park is very near, together they will become the lungs of Bangkok.

Now, if only they can relax the “No dogs” rule so we can walk our dogs around the park, say at dusk,it would be perfect.

I think the lady at 18.33 with the pink bag is the landscape designer of klong chong nonsi park in satorn area. Guess you encountered designers excursion on the day.

You can enter from Soi 10. Walk through the second Benjakitti Park. I am pretty sure the entrance at Soi 4 is closed. But not 100%

Not allowed to bring your bicycle? I thought they were constructing bicycle paths. Grateful for your elaboration

There is a part under construction that has many flowers as well.

Have been at the original Park from 2005 to 2018. Sheraton is right behind and it smelled like tabacco there. gues why?

Nice elevated walk path but i'm not yet convinced: This starts to look like a swamp. I would be concerned about mosquitos, rodents etc.

It is a forest plantation and in the water there is a guppy that feeds on the young mosquitoes in the water. But there will be a certain number of mosquitoes late at night.

Thanks for the explanation, yes having little fish in there eating the eggs will make sense. There mus also be some kind of water filtering system.

Is there a lot of snakes in bangkok, I heard someone telll me that Thailand is full of snakes everywhere.

The park is beautiful in general, but, in my opinion, the park designer only designs the park and cares not how difficult it is to take care of the islets in the pond, as most of them can only be accessible by boat. One can forget about using mobile machinery to mow the grass because some of the islets are too small for machine and some even too steep to stand on during grass mowing. This is crazy design flaws. Just wait until there are enough complaints from the lawn keepers for these flaws to be corrected in the future.

The small islands they build is called tree islands. The purpose is to delay the flow of water intake for containment.. And water here will in near future flow into the lake at Lumpini Park nearby as they realise that water in the Lumpini park's lake has no circulation. So this will help circulate the water in Lumoini. The lake with tree islands in this new park is not designed for any sports but only for delaying water flow that they will draw in water from the main Chao Praya river.

Unless, of course, this was intentional. Grasses over there might never gonna be mowed down for ages but instead flooded during the rainy season, killing the grass due to over-exposure to water, dead grass will then become fertilizer from which new grass will feed on. And of course, if things get a bit out of control, they can always mow them down with the good ol' machete.

Get Rich Park? There will be so much silver and gold in that park, it'll draw people from far and wide. Will Prayut officially open it? *Runs away quickly

But in case this is a problem with your translation engine, I'm also saying that the park was clearly designed in a way that will attract monitor lizards, and that will attract tourists. That appears to be the reason for the high walkways.
