Hiking Morris Peak: Sierra Nevada Mountains, Owens Peak Wilderness, CA.
Even when hiking plans are straightforward, the execution sometimes goes awry. That was truly the case in my hike to Morris Peak. It is a straightforward walk along the PCT, followed by a short use trail to the peak. Somehow I messed that up and turned it into a cross-country free for all! It makes for good video moments, though. So I guess things evened out in the end!
