CENTER CONSOLES ATTACK SUPER ROUGH INLET | Jupiter Inlet Boats

What manufacture do you like the best?
Is there any not included you would like to see?
So many different vessels this Saturday I wanted to show a wide range of boats tackling the inlet. Please let me know what you think. I have been told many people come here cause they are looking to buy a boat and are tired of the normal boat reviews. Here you can see how the hulls handle a challenging inlet on a Rough Day.

All kinds of boats in Jupiter, FL Palm Beach County transiting one of the most dangerous inlets in Florida. These boats can get themselves in trouble easily if they don't use the correct speed and choose the right lines at Jupiter Inlet. Some weekends there are more awesome boats going in and out of Jupiter Inlet than a boat show. In many ways, Jupiter Inlet is very similar to the world-famous Haulover inlet down in Miami, FL near Key Biscayne. Enjoy the video and don't forget to hit that like button to support the channel.

I love Contender
That Contender 39' is a winner
Yellowfin definitely!
Hands down anything and everything Contender! 35ST and 44ST best boats ever made
Love the scout.
Have to go with contender 39
that seavee 32 cut through pretty nicely
SeaVee 322Z. I want one!
Never underestimate that Cobia 277. I've installed hundreds if not thousands of through-hull transducers, and Cobias are thick!!!
That Sea hunt 27 game fish came rollin on in easily in some pretty sloppy conditions, also looked like it had an experienced captain at the helm too
I put my vote in for the contender those are awesome boats

@@RoughInlets it is a GREAT vessel! one of the best out there :-)
the first boat is a 39 yellowfin but still the best boat on the video
For me, Yellowfin 42, that big bow just carves it up..
Since there wasn’t a Freeman in this video...I’ll go with the Yellowfin.
That yellow fin is a 39 I know the owner
For under 30 feet I'd pick the Whitewater 25. Over 30 it would be hard to choose between the Magbay or the Scout. Following are my one line opinions of each boat as they came through the inlet. Personally I would still pick a cat over a mono. Hopefully there will be a few different powercats come through on an "interesting" day in the future! . . The first Yellowfin smashed through like a champ, but at 42' you'd almost expect that. The Key West 239 was handling the _channel_ nicely, I'm guessing he turned around when he saw the waves at the bar. (Smart man!) The Bluewater 2550 was pounding a bit. Probably a bit _TOO_ rough out there for that size. The Everglades 435 went through like a boss! That 39 Contender went through like a hot knife through butter, so far my favorite although personally I'd do without the tower. 27 foot SeaHunt proving that size doesn't always matter! That Intrepid driver was _really_ pounding the heck out of his passengers, I was expecting a better showing from the 327 Nomad (sad face). Boston Whaler Outrage 320, what else needs to be said about a company that is probably in the top 3 for the quality and seaworthiness of their mono-hulls? The SeaVee 322Z handled the inlet very nicely, although the driver should be scolded since NONE of the bowriders seemed to be wearing PFDs. That Competition 35 seemed to be having trouble riding the waves in, then you showed how underpowered it is. I'd want twin 300's and (almost) anything but a 'Rude! That Whitewater 25 came in _VERY_ nicely, especially given the size. So far the best under 30 foot boat. Venture 34 gave a good showing, VERY nice in fact given the size of the power on it! The Sportsman 252 was bouncing almost as much as the Bluewater. Looked like the Edgewater 318 came close to taking some water as they were coming past the end of the breakwater. Do all Cobia's slap like the 277 was. or was that a combination of the weather and the driver? Scout 330 LXF, beautiful boat and I love their bowflare. Some thumping but most of the landings were relatively soft. And the Magbay 33 immediately showed why that flare is a _very_ nice thing to have! Very nice looking boat from stem to stern! The Invincible 39 came through like Jupiter Inlet was their own personal playground. Quite smooth until they hit the swells at the bar. Oh FFS, that SeaPro 208 has no business being out in that crap! It doesn't have the freeboard or length to be in blue water. That Bahama 37 wanted to make sure you got a good look at how beautiful it is LOL
My favorite is the Cape Horn 27 OS, I'll keep looking for it on your videos, thanks for bringing us these videos of boats in action, real life, now that's a buyers guide if I ever saw one, good job. The manufactures should send some action your way $$$$$, lol!!!!!

The 435CC is a beast! Great fishing boat, lots of room, extremely well built, and has a great cabin to boot for overnights in the Bahamas :-)
rough seas those boats did really well.. i'm impressed

Edgewater! One of the best built boats out there!

Contender
Sea Pro 208 those folks are crazy
Love the center console videos!!!
I watched it twice. Tough choice. The captain makes a big difference. Having said that, it's either Yellowfin or Boston Whaler. If I can only go for one, it's YF.
Contender 39ST did well, but it's a matter of experience in boat handling thru that inlet, been there many times, some good some not so good, rather hit Lake Worth / Port of Palm Beach depending on my position when going in.
Yellow Fin.

I'm a fan too. I really like the 53' Suenos, but as long as I'm dreaming, I'll take the Estrella.
Yellowfin is the best all around
A lot of them rode the waves like a boss. Others, not so much. Is it the boat? Is it the captain? Double points off for going airborne and slamming down into the next wave. Herniated disks and snap your boat in half.
Bluewater 2550 is a 2 piece hull. That boat was a 3pc which means 23T. Seavee had a center rear live well. 322 has them in the corners. That SeaVee is a 320z not a 322z
Everglades is one but I’ve owned a contender 27 best boat hands I’ve pounded that boat for five years never had one stress crack anywhere
The sea pro nailed it however not a 208
39' Contender
Been boating for decades, been caught in some pretty big seas at times. In center consoles, I personally think that you can't beat Contenders and Intrepids (I do also have to admit that the bow flare on that Magbay was pretty sweet! :-) )
No sea hunters? They’d win
You never showed a center console catamaran which would eat these waves...

@@RoughInlets Maybe he ONLY likes going offshore (and doesn't foresee ever exploring the vast coastal areas of Fl, the Mid-Atlantic states (NC,SC, GA, etc) or Gulf of Mex states (all the way around). Hmmm, that would miss out on some of the best fishing in the world. And then there would be vast areas of the Bahamas that would ruled out too. . .

scout, most seaworthy ... IMo
Did they all have the same captain? No. Then you have no comparison. Where they all the same length? No. mid they all have the same horse power? No Then you have no comparison. Was the conditions the same for all runs? No. Then you have no comparison. Where they all done coming and going? No. Then you have no comparison. Other wise it just boils down to personal preference and not an actual performance test. Now base on what I have seen in multiple videos, I tend to like what I see the Contender does all the way around. I like the looks of the Midnight Express, but I think the Contender out preforms it. That's my $22.50 cents worth of opinion....
All that "like and subscribe" graphics nonsense was really poorly timed and placed for watching that beautiful YF. Do better. What is this Bravo or Animal Planet? Gonna hit us with 3rd screen ad banners every 30 seconds? If you MUST do a bunch of graphics and crap it may be better to do it in the sky instead of...you know, over the hulls/waves...
