So I have a question I’m doing something very similar but with mostly fiberglass.. my question is the 2 sheets of wood and the mid bridge that connects them is there gonna be a small gap regardless where the drive line hump is and under the dash all the way to the back in front of fire wall..??? Bcuz I get frustrated bcuz if I’m wanting the 2 pieces of wood to sit flush against the floor then the back becomes to spaced out . I have 2 tweets I’m putting where those gauges were and 2 cup holders trying to do side by side.. I was gonna make it to just sit right on top of the hump problem is it’s to small and narrow.. that’s why I was trying to do mine similar to yours but I got to b careful bcuz where the accelerator is I’d be kicking the center piece all the time..and I wanted the wood to go as far back as I could but other then the accelerator there’s a vent that I’d be blocking .. I just don’t want this center console to look cheap.. so all the advice would be appreciated..
