There are many reasons to visit South Africa. Getting an opportunity to hear this choir perform live would convince me instantly to go and travel half way around the globe.

I’m 72 years old. I sang in choirs from grade 5 through college and in many church choirs, and under some exceptional directors. I’ve also directed choirs. This is the best choral sound I’ve ever heard, producing sublime sound from a wise range of genre … and all with real heart, even love. What a tribute to South Africa.

South African choirs, and especially this one, do everything to absolute perfection, as Interkultur repeatedly finds. That includes singing perfectly in "straight tone".

I sing in a large Cornish Male Voice choir and you just make the hairs on my neck stand up. I have never heard a richer or more beautiful sound .I must admit to listening to you most nights....your singing brings me to tears many times. Wonderful....just wonderful.

You guys somehow dug up an old French song from the 70's, and wow, just wow !! Your rendition of it is hauntingly beautiful and moving *tips hat*

We visited South Africa last year and passed through lovely Stellenbosch. It was only when we got back that I found the Stellenbosch University Choir on KZread. Since that time I've listened to and adored their music at every opportunity. What a glorious sound!

It's hard to believe that it is almost 20 years since I was in South Africa, researching the effectiveness of their truth and reconciliation process. I fell in love with the people, the music, the food, and even the coffee! Though SA has huge problems, the people gave me hope for a more peaceful, tolerant - and forgiving - world. The Stellenbosch University Choir is an inspiration!

The most notable sound for me personaly is the the quality of the bass voices, rich and deep and form an exelent foundation for the rest of the voices. There is so much balance in the sound and it speak to the heart.

This choir is just amazing. My mother was a children's choir director for 30 plus years so I have been singing for a long time. Our daughter has been in the Arizona State Devil Clefs and has done some amazing things! Gathering together to sing is one of Earth's oldest traditions and this choir shows us why!!! I teach 3rd grade in Northern California and on Fridays as I wrap up the week and get ready for the next - Listening to your sublime music is a celebration and cleansing of goodness that you share with the world! Salve Regina has been my favorite for years, but this Cent Mille Chansons - is amazing and heart felt too! The key change is ethereal. Thank you - every member of Stellenbosch Choir, and Andre van der Merwe.
