Sans doute ń avez vous pas vu la mise en scène légendaire de Jean-Pierre Ponnelle. Un régal inégalé.

Ce n’est pas le final du premier acte, mais un sublime quintette !!

I don't care for Vivica's Angelina, but the others are really wonderful in their respective roles. Especially Ildebrando D'Arcangelo as Alidoro, although it would have been wonderful to see him as Dandini.

The Ponnelle version is unequaled in terms of beauty and elegance...

Je goûte peu ces translations "spacio-temporelles". Mais Spagnoli fait passer la potion.

Sorry but this is NOT OPERA like it should be! its absolutelly UNAUTHENTIC... although played on period instruments. These stageing and these acting is so horrible! I still prefer Ponnelles Version with Araiza and von Stade!
