The Community Engagement & Response Unit in OEPR hosted the Third Annual Conference of the NYC Community Emergency Network Coalitions on Monday May 20,th 10:00am -12:30pm. The theme of this online conference was “Polycrisis: Preparing NYC Communities for Multiple Emergencies” and was presented by five of New York City’s Community Emergency Networks (CENs). This conference consisted of five workshops led by the CENs, with introductory remarks from DOHMH’s Assistant Commissioner of Bureau of Healthcare and Community Readiness, Tamer Hadi.
