How???? He’s not better than TJ McConnell; he’s still the third guard!!! He’s not playing most nights. The only reason the celtics played three guards last year was because Derrick and Brogdan are respected guards in this league and they sat behind long time Celtic Marcus. He’s gone. Now the rotation will be TWO GUARDS again. He’s not playing and you shouldn’t want him to either. Brogdan and white are real dawgs in this league. This kid is for show.

it's crazy how athletic NBA players can be without bodybuilder style bodies I mean Pritchard doesn't even have six pack abs or anything, like he's strong but not "built" like lean bodybuilders are. Still, he's a multimillionaire athlete with it. Goes to show how different training can affect a body.

Why don't they show his misses? We know he misses. We're witnessing it quite a bit in his NBA games. I think Pritchard is great but why convey an image like that? Does anybody know the thought behind this approach of depicting NBA players' workouts? I'm well aware he's not the only one being conveyed this way.

Players don’t shoot the same percentages in games and in practice tho… so he might actually not be missing much. Also this is simply a highlight video, the people who made it probably assumed a lot of people watching don’t want to watch the misses.

@@splash_basketball That's true. There are largely uncut workouts of e.g. Fred VanVleet here on KZread where he's also rarely missing but since Pritchard is going 1on1 here I would have expected at least a couple of misses. It just happens. Even to pro players in workouts :). But yeah, maybe people are not interested in a depiction of an actual workout performance. I would be.

Can you make a video where you make pick and roll passes in traffic, make the correct rotations on defense and play actually PLAY defense? Dribbling is cool and all but it’s played out and super instagram-ish. All this dribbling and you’re still not consistent in the game. Thus, you don’t receive meaningful playing time until the coach is mad at his rotation players and throw you in to teach them a lesson/threat. Stop with this 🧢 you fooling kids about what it takes. “92 points in a proAM game.” You missed an NBA opportunity to show everyone how good you are or at least practice against other talent on your level for that Pro Am game. Only for Devion Mitchell to destroy you in a “summer league” game. You haven’t played well since in my eyes. Get the camera out your face and really do some real work. Flabby, soft bodied, older than Tatum, “shooter” that doesn’t make the ones that count. Tired of the hype job. Your opportunity needs to be given to someone who really wants it. This whole charade is fake.
