It's crazy how good these NBA players are, he doesn't get that much playing time and has an insane skillset. Hoping to see him get more minutes in the league this year!

It's the 6' guard in the NBA that is the most insanely skilled players. Not the Lebrons or Durants.
There's men getting paid money to play high college level defense and get cooked vs a NBA player. Respect. That is a hoopers dream job.

It’s crazy 4:27 because the *first* stop the defenders actually got on him after countless buckets Payton actually looks disappointed 😂 though I don’t know if they cut out any stops they got before.
So talented
dope use of the foreground in the beginning
Great job, Credence!

How???? He’s not better than TJ McConnell; he’s still the third guard!!! He’s not playing most nights. The only reason the celtics played three guards last year was because Derrick and Brogdan are respected guards in this league and they sat behind long time Celtic Marcus. He’s gone. Now the rotation will be TWO GUARDS again. He’s not playing and you shouldn’t want him to either. Brogdan and white are real dawgs in this league. This kid is for show.

hard knee to the quad at 7:05..That's why you don't train with scrubs when you've made it to the NBA. Turns that whole workout into a negative with a little thigh contusion

He’s waited and prepared and still wasn’t ready when he got his shot in the playoffs last year when Brogdan went down. He’s the third guard this year. Can our fans please have some common sense about how basketball works?
I hope you do well and get a starting role
Didn’t he just drop like 90 or something crazy in some league. Dude cold and he on the bench. NBA players on a different level
id love to see pritchard get more minutes next season. so underrated!

Been sick since the O
Wish these videos would show missed shots. Kids need to understand that perfect doesn't exist at any level. Most kids buy into this perfect work/game mentality. Social media is a gift and a curse when it comes to the truth of what the process really looks like.
“Hey even though you in the NBA jus keep finishin left side layups wit the right hand cuz people don’t adjust to it defensively at this level”- The coaches im assuming .
Good Luck this year Payton! Go for that trade to OKC to team up with Shai!
He just so short. Give him 3-4 inches he's an Allstar.

No.. smart is the better option still
A lot of off-arm movements. Most times they look great. Only a handful of times that they might be called if the defender starts to flop a little. 0:30 for instance.
it's crazy how athletic NBA players can be without bodybuilder style bodies I mean Pritchard doesn't even have six pack abs or anything, like he's strong but not "built" like lean bodybuilders are. Still, he's a multimillionaire athlete with it. Goes to show how different training can affect a body.
@rossconklin7140

No athletes look like bodybuilders because it's not a good build for any sport. Bodybuilders usually aren't even that strong, and they definitely aren't quick or mobile. I call it "body kit" because it's like putting a Ferrari body kit on a VW Jetta.

Why don't they show his misses? We know he misses. We're witnessing it quite a bit in his NBA games. I think Pritchard is great but why convey an image like that? Does anybody know the thought behind this approach of depicting NBA players' workouts? I'm well aware he's not the only one being conveyed this way.
@splash_basketball
8 ай бұрын
Players don’t shoot the same percentages in games and in practice tho… so he might actually not be missing much. Also this is simply a highlight video, the people who made it probably assumed a lot of people watching don’t want to watch the misses.
@otocyon2431
8 ай бұрын
@@splash_basketball That's true. There are largely uncut workouts of e.g. Fred VanVleet here on KZread where he's also rarely missing but since Pritchard is going 1on1 here I would have expected at least a couple of misses. It just happens. Even to pro players in workouts :). But yeah, maybe people are not interested in a depiction of an actual workout performance. I would be.

At what?
Can you make a video where you make pick and roll passes in traffic, make the correct rotations on defense and play actually PLAY defense? Dribbling is cool and all but it’s played out and super instagram-ish. All this dribbling and you’re still not consistent in the game. Thus, you don’t receive meaningful playing time until the coach is mad at his rotation players and throw you in to teach them a lesson/threat. Stop with this 🧢 you fooling kids about what it takes. “92 points in a proAM game.” You missed an NBA opportunity to show everyone how good you are or at least practice against other talent on your level for that Pro Am game. Only for Devion Mitchell to destroy you in a “summer league” game. You haven’t played well since in my eyes. Get the camera out your face and really do some real work. Flabby, soft bodied, older than Tatum, “shooter” that doesn’t make the ones that count. Tired of the hype job. Your opportunity needs to be given to someone who really wants it. This whole charade is fake.
