This imo rivals some of the greatest guitar riffs in history. My God your fingers are moving so quickly
It's so refreshing to hear proper fingerstyle with all of those percussive guitarists sounding the same these days. Your channel really stands out.

The trick is mastering the picking hand triplet and fretting hand hammer on. Then, the timing. Great job!
Stephen, you blow my mind. That is the perfect way to start any day.

I have bought the album, and it is the best arranging and playing I have heard on the Celtic guitar. Stephen, you deserve to rank right up there with Bill Coulter, Tony McManus, and Franco Morone. I recommend.

Superb! Imagining bringing the pipes to come and join in.
Great, really enjoyed, thanks.
Love this! Just trying to teach myself folk picking and dadgad after years of standard tuning and rock guitar. Great stuff!
perfect spirit of celtic culture!!! wawwwww so nice as usual!!!!!!!!
If I lived for a thousand years and had guitar lessons every day, I would never be even a small fraction towards playing like you. Thanks for your beautiful and talented demonstration. I can only dream.

Hey Al! I'm your biggest fan, have been for over 10 years! The first Celtic tune I ever learned was your arrangement of Jock o' Hazeldean. Thanks for listening!
Excellent!
Excellent honest playing. WOW
Excellent job, my friend!
Absolutely Marvellous !. A Master At Work. !. Respect And Greetings From Scotland.

Impressed much 🙏🙏🎶🎶
Thank you for this wonderful musical journey dear Stephen. As always, your technique is fabulous and each note flows like the water of a river. I play on my classical guitar and I find it hard to get into DADGAD. I would need a guitar always tuned like this. The sound of your guitar is very pure. Musical friendships Phil

To get into DADGAD you need strings with a little more tension. In fact, dadgad is dropped one tone only. Let’s try!

I love this arrangement, the pace is terrific. I may be alone here, but some of the phrases in 'Bucks of Oranmore" evoke the intro to "Baba O'Riley"

Awesome, great! Irish music is a very soothing sound. I would give my left nut to be able to play Irish guitar. But I'm an old man now and the fingers just don't work like they did 30 years.
holy shoite! did you ever look at someone doing this before you could and think "how the feck does he do that?".. I'm just trying to gauge whether or not is ever have a chance. I wonder how many single notes you play in that entire song. beautiful none the less.
This makes me want to drink, dance, fight, love, cry. That is how I know it's great. Thank you. I needed that. You never know when something's going to break through and touch you. I play a bit but I analyze everything in an effort to learn & that can work to keep me unaffected. With this link my son sent I began to analyze at first. I knew it would be technical. We share things like that and it'll be amazing..but I wouldn't want to spend the night hearing it. This did the harder "thing" It got through to me. I finally just gave in and closed my eyes. I began to hear the TONE of the instrument and the song without thinking about the notes and technique. I wasn't picking out this or that, I actually heard the whole piece at once, a rare occurrence for me. Thanks for the hard work and time you put into your craft. It transcended like only music at a high level can.
Whew… 👀 🔥🔥
wow. subscribed.
Well done lad.
I wanna learn this beautiful piece ... Can you arrange tutorial...
Very good!I have buy the PDF,but I haven't finish it.
Super.....
where did you get the drone from. amazing stuff

Habilidad. Sensibilidad. Virtud !
How do i learn this ? I need to know how to play
Hi Stephen, I'm wondering how you achieved that drone sound in this recording (and some of your others)? It sounds quite good and I think it really supports the melody well!
That is extraordinary skill you have my friend!!! I feel like chucking it in after watchig yourself play!!! What guitar is that you have there??
Fantastic playing with great ornamentation! Thank you for the tabs.
I've been looking for nice Celtic guitar music to listen to whilst I work. Especially music that includes the typical tin whistle or fiddle melodies in the composition. This is perfect. Beautifully played too.

THE TREMELO WHAT
Nice playing, nice key change at 1:19. I am not sure about that artificial drone that comes in at 1:55. The guitar holds its own w/o needing such things. IMHO. But great playing anyway, thanks for posting.

Thanks Steve! Really glad you like it. The drone was an idea I had but I agree that it sounds fake. If it were a real drone then perhaps it would sound a bit nicer. Thanks for the input, always appreciate it coming from you!
