The profitability is an illusion it's actually going to be extremely profitable now it's the time to build out the farm. Calculators don't know how to deal with the fee poolAnd block rewards could be as high as 50 which we just saw recently depending on activity on the network. Not to mention merge mining there are several projects about to launch.

To keep them running cool just put them in the fridge. I’m sure that would work. Might have to get up every morning early so the Mrs never opens the fridge to find 50 phone all running in the fridge.

91 cents isn't too shabby but the actual after 30 days will reveal truth in mining. Will check out Sebs research but I've seen several videos with some low profit results

I’m getting 2.5 cents a day with a samsung A0s phone…i was going to spend $600 on 10 samsung 23 phones but should i just buy verus instead. I was thinking ill have more verus buying right now than mining for 6 months

People are generally testing this out with older unused phones and not their main phone. Prepaid NEW android phones can be had for $50 or so. The used Apple phones at this price point tend to be 4-core and not > 8-core like the newer cheaper Android phones. I love Apple, but right now, not an option for me for cell-phone mining due to price differential.

@@boxfan6656 I got around 10 iPhone 10-11s for free from some mates so just trying to use them haha but yeah I get ya I wouldn’t go out of my way to get a iPhone when where I’m located I can get a ZTE that does 2.79mh and it’s only $30 for them I think in usd it’s like $23

Mine with the phones for 3 months plus b4 telling everyone how gold phone mining is cuz your gonna end up with swollen batterys screen glue goes soft cuz of high heat and comes off and the constant restarts on multiple phone's cuz of high heat😂

there is a temp hold setting ill go over you can set max temp and then let it cool down same for battery percentage
