Fun fact about Cell's voice: The games always give him unique voices for each form. However, due to a development oversight, during gameplay, Cell's voice doesn't change from his first form.

not technically true! it's not a development oversight. it's just that in japanese, cells voice doesn't change. which means that the games (which are made by the japanese) never bothered to add in different voice clips for the other forms of cell. japan never needed them so they never added them

All I can remember from this Game's Story mode is the Perfect Cell, Bojack & Super Buu stuff for being hard as Dragon Balls and that's from back when I had that Infinite Time hack of being a Kid when this game came out. My point being: I'm worried for Doto.

Cell is only OP cause Gohan is really bad in comparisson to his BT3 self...And the fact it is a super drawn out fight. A lot of stuff comes down to either a char being super good or super terrible lol.

Piccolo vs 17 is actually a top 3 fight in DBZ, I will die on that hill. That fight is everything!

At this point this isn’t a Dragon Ball series it’s a series to see how high Dotos blood pressure can get without him getting hospitalized.

Because of Doto, I relaunched my Tenkaichi 2 and re 100% it and had a blast. Thank you doto please do more old dragon ball games

In BT3 at least he has the other voices, but not when getting hit. I heard it is because his voice is the same between transformations in Japanese. It could be the same in this game too, but maybe only for super moves or combos that have him saying something

I've heard a few times that the reason Cell doesn't have a different voice between first and second forms in a lot of Dragon Ball games is that, in Japan, his voice didn't change between first and second form. That being the case, there's no second audio file for them to record.

Yes, this is true! That's also the reason why if you hit Perfect Cell, the hurt audio is that of first form Cell.

Cell is also part Frieza, who can survive with no legs, one arm and a hole in his head (and arguably even after he was diced into cubes by Trunks, only dying to the final Ki Blast). Piccolo dies to the damage before he can regenerate, while Cell literally won't die unless all of his cells are gone.

DOTO! Two things 1st: if you hold the punch button and choose a direction you can send the opponent flying with just one hit. (Don’t know if you know that already but just in case) 2nd: in the Z fusion section you can combine z items to get new characters and their transformations (MAX power Roshi etc.)

Great video ! About Evolution Z, you don't have to put 4 "Health +5" on a character. You can put one of each (one for health, one for attack, one for defense, one for speed, etc) and you will get some exp after each fight (your health +1 will up to +2 then +3 etc until +19). That way you will be able to max more stats (Of course you will have to skip some stats since you don't have the place to max them all, I usually skip Ki or Speed but Health, Attack and Defense is a must have). I hope you'll see my message and I hope this will help (Sorry for my English I'm from France). Peace !

Ive been playing alongside you and rush moves are pretty easy to counter by just jabbing the rush. Like when they delta rush, you can just basically spam square and itll let you continue your regular string instead of ki blocking it with tight timing.

I've always held the headcannon that due to piccolos regeneration dropping his power level, the saiyan cells that Cell has are what makes the regeneration so op by giving a mini zenkai boost every time (to counteract the downside piccolo has with regeneration).

ok, usually dragonball stuff like that is not thought out properly, but the fact that cell regenerates so much with piccolos abillity makes actually sense, cause he also has frieza genes. piccolo is still relying on namekian vital organs to keep his body running, frieza has shown to be shockingly unaffected by being cut in half and even was still alive when being blown up by a beam after being cut in half and then the planet he was on blew up for his mangled body to fly through the vaccuum in space and he was just fixed with prostetics. combine friezas wierd durability and combine that with piccolos regeneration that as long as no vital organs are being hit can regrow an entire arm in seconds, and cells selfhealing actually makes alot of sense

Someone else probably mentioned this by now already, but what about crafting Halo's and Majin Seals for your characters? You can do this from the start of the game if you have the zeni, but basically in the shop, there's a tab with purple z items in it, one of them being z-item fusion, and the other 4 being what you combine together for the Halo and Majin Seal respectively. These items are pretty damn good because they simply half the ki consumption for supers and ults. Now with that knowledge, put that Halo on Vegeta Second Form Super Saiyan and use the volley to find out it costs half of 1 ki bar =)
