I’m so glad I’m not the only one that likes the look of cell towers flashing at night, my favorite is when you have an amazing view of several towers in the distance on hills. So relaxing

As a kid I used to climb trees to see towers. Now 40 years later I find out there building a cell tower near me and I'm excited. What's up with that.

Awesome two grey free standing lattice cell towers with FH-324's and markers from 0:44 to 2:30, one is still flashing white at day mode during dusk then switches to red night mode after passing by it. 2:40, grey free standing lattice cell tower with an unknown beacon, either an FH-324 or FH-306 flashing red at night and markers, maybe an LED? I do not know. 3:23 Old-school incandescent beacon not working on the yellow water tower? That sucks. 3:56 That cell monopole with the white flashing LED beacon would have been cool to see it switch to night mode (red flash and markers) while passing under that bridge, I would still much prefer it with a strobe (FAA: but muh LED beacons r bettur). 4:51, some kind of antenna with markers at the top. 5:30 Grey free standing lattice cell tower with an FH-324 and markers. 6:20 guyed cell tower with LED beacons flashing red at night and markers.

My out tower on the corner roof make same is steady sidelight on not flashing and the top beacon is same rate 30 fpm

Now i know all cell towers light up at night but i wonder why the monopoles don't light up at night like the towers do i don't get it??

It's because most monopoles are under 200ft. The requirement for a structure to get obstruction lights is that the structure has to at least be 200ft. If there's any structure under 200ft with obstruction lights (like the monopole in the video), it's because it's next to an airport or helicopter landing pad.
