I have a great idea for money in space stage. I’ve probably said this before but maybe two currencies? Energy and Resources? You can resources from mining asteroids, planets, minerals etc. and you get energy by building Dyson spheres or Fusion Reactors and stuff. Also are you planning on making a secret in the galaxy of the save you’re playing in? Also I think you should make it so different galaxies have different saves. And you can go to another galaxy in the main menu to get into a save you wanna play.

I've always been disappointed that they never finished spore. at least now I can see the successor of that classic game that has been around since back in 2008.

@@Ecoryzer What's better, a metaphorical door or a metaphorical window for the development of this game? A window is nice because you can look at what's happening in the inside while looking from the outside, but you can't actually get to do anything that's happening inside cause you're outside. (So basically, you can see the development process but you can't actually play the game.) But a door, you can actually go and see what's inside, but you have to go inside to see it. (So, you can go and play the game, but you have to get the game to know what's happening.) This development path has a door with a window on it; best of both worlds. That was an awkward metaphor but there you go.

I hope the new Spore game allows you to make individual characters amongst your creations.

I feel like it would be sick if each type of planet had added bonuses based on its type. For example, volcanic planets will have a lot more active areas during the cell stage, lush planets would have more food (maybe in all stages, little food particles in cell stage and bushes in creature stage), irradiated planets would cause a bonus of more DNA, or maybe your creature could mutate to grow a new limb, and other planets would do other things. Overall this game looks so exciting, and like pretty much everyone here, I was sad Maxis never quite finished spore, so I’m ecstatic to see the development of this game!

New chellange idea! The Thing challange Rules: -each time you eat something, your creature „absorbs” it, and you need to use the parts of absorbed creature into your body - you play as Carnivore or omnivore -you cant eat plants - make creature look cool :D -have fun :D

They are delivering on so many fronts! I am definitely going to buy this no matter the price when it comes out.

i hope they take their time to make it best as possible, yes, i not hope for it to be done as fast as possible but as good as possible

It really baffles me that they won't make an official spore 2. It's games like this that show dedication and a desire for a sequel. EA is really missing out.

I'm so hopeful for this game, it looks like it's gonna be amazing.

The "Building grid" feature reminds me more of the tribal stage than the civilization one (and those "magic staffs" kinda resemble the healing staffs), but it would be pretty neat to be able to create your own tribal buildings instead of always using the same old ones

Churb is the shorthand for Church of Blorb. With Blorb being the demo creature everyone has latched onto. Similar to the Willosaur for Spore

@@pro_master2486 they won't because it's not being advertised as actual Spore. They don't own the genre. Imagine if Nintendo put down Undertale because It was based on the Mother series. It's the same kinda thing. They own a franchise, not a videogame genre

EA is a very greedy company and they have ruined other games for less. Let’s just hope they don’t.

@@alvaronavarro4895 I hope that's the case, but it's similar to the point of destroying any plausible deniability. Unfortunately EA is almost certainly going to win that one if they do. IKEA just C&Dd a solo indie game for taking place inside a store with furniture, grey walkways, striped shirts, and a Swedish name, despite no actual mention of IKEA anywhere. It's not like they own the concept of grey walkways and striped shirts, but when you combine it all together, they can say, "That's obviously an IKEA store, you're infringing on our trademark."

We aren't breaking any of EA's patents and own the usage rights for all resources used in EE. Game mechanics are not subject to copyright. However the code that implements them falls under intellectual property, so if you would base a mechanic like the editor off of Spore's code, it would infringe on their copyright. A way of protecting their IP is to patent a system, which consists of multiple game mechanics together (which EA did). In this case its mainly focused on automatically populating an evolution game with player-made content from a server. The patent heavily refers to the Sporepedia server/website and the 5 stages. But since our "Elysian Archive" requires player input to download creations and assign them to saves, we aren't breaking that patent. Having a different gameplay structure (more stages, new mechanics) also avoids Elysian Eclipse resembling the design documents that are attached to the patent.
