I got the same celine belt on 2/26/2022 so almost exactly two years ago from your video! I love it and I even inspired one coworker to get it last fall. She just showed up with it one day, and this is with me going to the office barely once a week and I don’t wear it every single time 😂. I am quite self aware with the triomphe logo so I don’t wear any other logo when I wear the belt, not even hermes loafers with the H on it, I’d opted for the gucci horsebit loafers instead, for example. I also love the triomphe teen but couldn’t pull the trigger because I think the bag+belt would be too much. The classic box with the belt is perfect!

Oh glad to hear you’ve been enjoying yours for 2 years! I’m with you - I don’t want other hardware competing with the Celine hardware. It feels like it’s too much. I’d do the same - no other logos. 😊

I like the review video, but I do think since Celine had been over using this type of hardware to all their lines, from RTW, bags and SLGs it already is the new GG belt, I do think it’s going to age just like the Gucci, but like you said, if you like what you buy and wear, you do it 🤍

I agree. It reminds me of the Ferragamo belt. There will come a time where it becomes the GG belt and people will move along to the next best thing. Also, it’s way overpriced for what it is.

It’s definitely all over the place, I agree. Luckily, I don’t personally know anyone in my circles who has the Triomphe belt or Triomphe bag so no risk of showing up dressed the same. 😂 We’ll see what happens over time.

I highly doubt it’ll be the same as the Gucci belt, Celine is not a brand like Gucci that is everywhere, that’s why I love it! Great video!

I got the triomphe belt, because I was over the gucci belt look and wanted something still black and gold for an accent but not the dated GG look. So I feel nowadays the celine belt is definitely definitely getting popular

I suppose that’s the risk with these popular styles - they can definitely get over saturated and like you say, feel “dated” after a while. We’ll see! Only time will tell.

My bracelet is a custom design from our personal jeweler. My husband had it made as a gift for me. 💗

I totally love the triumph belt and would love to have but I was one of those who bought the gucci GG belt a few years ago. I’m having such a strong Déjà vu. Maybe the belt won’t end that bad, because Celine is less known and their logo is less obvious. And I imagine there would be way less fakes compared to the gucci belt. Anyhow, I think I missed the train to buy the Celine belt and enjoy it long enough before everyone gets it.

The Celine buckle is so shiny, I wonder if they come in different texture: shine and like an "old hardware" look / dull and a bit scratched, because online they look different all the time on photos. I am confused...

Oh, those are super old suede boots I got from Banana Republic many years ago! They’re probably 10-15 years old or so.

Have you experienced your CC gold hardware easily scratching? I have, and my belt is only a few months old. I rarely wear it. I know it comes with the micro-scratches, brand new, but you can see actual scratches "from wear" in mine. It's disappointing because I am SO MINDFUL of my movements, and take utmost care of my "things." Curious to know if you've experienced the same. Thank you!

I’m actually super curious about your take on the Celine classic box! I’m debating between the teen and the medium and am afraid that the medium will be too big on my 5’2” frame. What are your thoughts on it?

I have the Celine Classic box bag in medium and have shared many videos about it. I’m 5’6” and the medium is a good size for me - but when I tried the Celine triomphe bag, I really liked the teen size. I’d say for your frame, if you don’t carry a lot with you, the teen size would be good.

I’ve worn it a few times and so far, I don’t see much except some hairline scratches that I can barely even see. I expect that it’ll scratch more over time though and I don’t really mind it. Hope you can still enjoy yours!

In London UK, I see more and more people wearing these belts. But it also depends WHERE you are in London to see them - it seems to be the brand of young professionals and I don’t mind it

Size 2. In jeans, I wear waist size 26/27 inch depending on if it’s high or low waist. Hope that helps!

The celine belt design is so classy in comparison to the Gucci belt! No one can convince me that this will go out of style 😂

They’re actually Old Navy wide leg jeans! I was searching online for this style and it popped up on sale. They’re a thinner denim and quite comfortable.

You know I love exploring lesser-known up-and-coming brands! I’ve known about Fleuron for a little while. I believe they’re quite new (just a few years established) and I understand the designer may have worked under Phoebe Philo during the old Celine days, which if true, is a big plus in my mind! 😊 I think their Swan line looks nice but I’ve not been able to see or feel the bags in person since there’s no store here in NYC. I’ll add them to my list of brands to keep an eye on!

Just to add, I own 2 Fleuron Swann bags in different sizes. The leather is buttery soft and of very high quality and I understand that they are from the same tannery as Hermes leather in Italy.
