This shows that Celine has boundless ability to sing and blend her vocals with any singer. True that she usually seems to take her time with soft vocals then builds up to the massive belts, but its also true that she has incredible skill of breath control, support and projection as most Opera singers advice.

This song is by far my favorite international duet Celine have ever done. I listen this song at least once a day since “let’s talk about love” was released...

She is really selling the emotion of the song; what an excellent performer.

If you look at their height with regards the top of the TV screen, they're equal, it's the angle of the TV that makes her look disproportionately tiny.

Yes yes yes!!!! I have watched your video's many times and love everyone of them. I feel she has never gotten the credit she deserves. What a powerhouse she is and our greatest treasure to date. I really believe we have never had as great a singer,performer as her. I truly love her so much She is the greatest. Tinky Dinky I don't think that's the case here; Luciano could easily overpower Celine and most mainstream vocalists. He's used to projecting to a whole auditorium without a mic... It was arranged to this way.

I agree with everything you said. Regarding Pavarotti, opera singers are taught to sing "in the mask", to place their voice forward in the face so the frontal and maxillary sinuses are used advantageously for projection and resonance. One needs to remember, opera singers are trained to sing the way they do in order to be heard in a concert hall without amplification. I suppose being used to hearing a wide spectrum of quality of pop singers' vocal technique, ranging from bad to excellent, it's natural to be in awe of an opera singer's resonance and skills in general. So if you can, check out even more operatic singing. It is textbook in singing, of *any* singing style.

@@GarageStudio7 honestly this really shows the gap between a proper trained opera tenor against even an upper tier pop soprano, at over 60 or twice Celine's age, she clearly got stomped. Her E5 at 2:43 was throaty and even the supported D5 paled in resonance in comparison with him

One of my favorite songs off her Lets Talk about Love album. Their vocals are flawless, playful and just classic!! She did great with Andre Bocelli and Pavoritti during her career. She's a lucky gal!

It's not her belts that her you, it's that gentle head voice that lulls you..

The night of this performance was a fantastic musical event overall. Bryan Adams and Pavarotti were magical: they were like a tiger and a mouse :P. Always makes me smile...Pavarotti chuckles the whole way through. I'd recommend watching it as a pick-me-up on a rainy day.

I love this song and that is my fave Celine album. But I hate how Pavarotti has no chemistry with these amazing people he got to sing with. Doesn't even look her, and all the while she is perfectly acting out the emotion of the song. Can you believe some people say she is not worthy of the vocal trinity and that she is not a legend? I remember her and Mariah debuting in America the same year, around the same time and I was so lucky to be there for it. There is no debate whether either of the trinity deserves that status.

This is not a cover of a 1973 hit by Shirley Bassy. It was composed In 1972 by the Italians Tony Renis & Alberto Testa and was titled Grande, grande, grande, (never, never, never) and successfully performed by Mina. Tony Renis recomposed (with some changes to the lyrics [e.g. the word "Hell" is not in the latest version since I doubt Celine would ever allow that word in one of her songs.] as a duet for Celine and Pavarotti.

Funny duett. One singer who can only belt brutally (till it hurts) or use the (gentler but boring) head voice. The other commands practically all singing techniques. There is a H U G E talent -gap between these two.

Pro & Contra Deutschland Disagree with your statement. Technique is one thing and talent is another one. Maybe Céline has not Pavarotti lyrical technique (although she can sing circles around him in other genres) but denying one of these two legends including Céline has not or has few talent is a blasfemy.
