I was thinking of this song in a different vein. It is a song of survival, a song of leaving a bad relationship. However, if that relationship is with yourself, low self esteem, feelings of no worth, you shouldn't take that lying down, you shouldn't let yourself spew those words of hatred to someone you should love without doubt. (Yourself) I shared this thought with my daughter, who is one of the kindest, beautiful young women I know who is struggling with low self esteem. So if you hear this song, and feel you're worth nothing, you're not. You're of immeasurable worth. Love yourself, and let your toxic thoughts go.

MY FAVOURITE SONG OF ALL TIME!!!!!

This is like my theme song from when I ended my relationship of 5 years (engaged for 3) because he was an alcoholic and had grown increasingly verbally abusive until I finally had nothing left that I recognized of myself . He ripped away every bit of my dignity, self worth and self esteem. Saliva flew from his lips with his vile words of hatred. He was a tortured man with his own demons, but still, nobody deserves to be subjected to that kind of toxicity. And I DIDN’T take it lying down. I ended it one day and have never looked back in regret. I acknowledge and honor the things about myself that he saw and loved in me, but he taught me a valuable lesson about how NOT to let someone treat me, and I grew from it, and for that, the experience was worth it. So I relate to this song in every word and it makes me feel strong. Bless Sia and Celine.

I’m a 25 year old man that is a victim of domestic & emotional abuse . I had a bad growing up stage due to my father’s torturing behaviour and his hatred towards me my mum and brother . his demons surrounds him a lot cuz my mum left him 20 years ago as he failed to protect his own family and wife and my mum has sclerosis. this track gives me the positive feeling of reclaiming myself back again . I went through anxiety and depression and it lives in me god knows when this will end . I hope my dad will burn some day as he is reaching 60 years of age in 2020 . I will never forget what my father did to his own family and he will pay the consequences the day he fucks off from this earth. to all women & men out there , don’t be embarrassed to speak out cuz it helps a lot when you are heard.

Forgive your dad no matter what he did he is still your father and pray that God show him his mistakes and help him then one day he will repent and come back and apologise for his wrongdoings dear. When you forgive you will heal from depression and anxiety. Don't waste your time and energy concentrating on hating you will only hurt yourself. God loves you xoxo

This is something so personal to share but maybe it will make me feel better or not? Haven't spoken to him in a long time. He works in my bldg. We used to talk alot until that night when it all came crashing down. I pass by his desk everyday, no words exchanged. This morning I was headed downstairs he startled me he was headed up. I didn't say a word nor did he. I looked at him, didn't even look at me. I have told him things about myself that I never told anybody. Now when I see him I feel like he is a total stranger!!! Courage is a beautiful song. As I always say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I can always relate to the music Celine Dion makes. I know that she has experienced some personal tragedy's as well. She always sings from the heart. Keep up the good work Celine I'm a big fan!
