I liked what Daniel said about changing the narrative of the woman being the more spiritual and praying one in the family got me snapping my fingers. This is what I’ve been saying for the longest time. Most men tend to look for a woman who can pray or will pray for them but are they willing or ready to prophesy, pray and speak spirit-filled words into the life of their partner?. God help us all.

As a matter of fact, the man is supposed to lead in all aspects including the spiritual aspect. As men, we have to understand that we must first have a solid spiritual level before we even look for partners because we're going to be in control of the ship(the family) and we need of course we need a helper. If the leader isn't more spiritual, the ship will sink!

I made my celibacy decision in jss3 after a social studies class when we were thought abstinence. The teacher explained the spiritual implications of having multiple sex partners and since the, God has been helping me to keep myself till now. Its over 15 years now and God is still faithful

One thing I’ve learnt is that while in the waiting room for anything, like anything at all, while making a prayer of request over and over again, and it seems God isn’t responding like u want, you change the direction of communication with God Instead of prayer of request, turn it into a thanksgiving. I so much believe that if at a point in life, some things aren’t working out they way we want, I believe God is preparing for us something better. So what we should do it turn that request into a thanksgiving, pray about it once or twice, Let him be aware of it and then carry on with thanksgiving, Just wake up every morning and say, “God I thank bcus of this, I’m grateful because this is working out for my good” and stuff like that. Just thought to share ❤🥰😍

100% what Daniel is saying @13:17. I believe that part of womens' gripe with submission is because they're choosing men who aren't leaders. Let him lead himself in the area of discipline. If in dating, he's struggling to make a decision and stand by it, why would that change after marriage?

Fact is, the more Godly people in this KZread space, the Godlier the content will be. It's refreshing to see people with transformed minds talk these issues out. We need more of these. In summary, God wants even better things that we want for ourselves but an unrenewed mind/not fully yielded heart can hinder us from accessing these blessings and if you are sure you're on track, remember that "all (even the seemingly unpleasant) things work together for good to them that love the lord & are called according to his purposes". Also, the camera settings from the retake is a lot better.

It so sad that some of our churches are unable to layout this kind of topics.But at the same time I'm grateful that there's this channel where we as young Christian women can learn from🙇🏾‍♀️🤍

Thank you for sharing this It's funny how I was talking to some guys two days ago about the type of man I want (being celibate and all that good stuffs) and they were saying it's impossible, that it's already in their blood to be sexually active I tried my best to convince them but to no avail They even told me my mindset will change after sometime or when I travel abroad But I know men like that exist and I'm patiently waiting on God for one❤️

@@JoshuaRotimi the circle of friends I have is not the issue, they are actually very decent God centred individuals. My issue is finding that person who has made a decision to stay celibate. Even in church not so many people can say they are waiting. Yes they might tick all the boxes and then this factor disqualifies them

Thank you for this. As a man, I've had similar experiences and societal expectations. And I can relate to the temptations that come once you are in a committed Christian relationship. We fall but we rise. I've been wrestling with the idea of being a priest and leading both I and my potential partner in Christ. It definitely comes with more responsibility, in that I am responsible if I lead a daughter of God astray. Can we have the guys talk about how they prepared for that?

This is an awesome show guys I have been battling this celibacy issue lately, I almost felt like I will just give up sometime like or force issues someday to get a guy to get married to. I've been meeting 'church guys' who do not have chills asking for s3x and its been kinda tough. I decided to equip myself and build myself in Christ for now but in my heart I felt I wasn't gonna get a man who can abstain. Watching these men here confidently talking about it.
