Hello I'm weighing up buying the Celestron 100AZ vs a Meade ETX80 - can anyone advise which is better? I can get for roughly the same price. The Meade is older I know but has the automatic robotic object finder. Is the Meade the better option? Thanks for any help! Alice

What's the best telescope under 8000?(plz tell)

Dear Mohit Sir, It's been almost a fortnight with my first telescope Celestron Inspire 100AZ. I have really enjoyed the time with the telescope. The terrestrial images are displayed with much precision. We managed to catch the moon once but only for few minutes due to cloudy weather in Mumbai. The purpose of a beginner level of pursuing the astronomy hobby can be well sufficed with this model. Easy to use, quick set up, precise images are some of it's pros. There is a need for Barlow 2x if you want to see the moon finitely, but it depends on the overall purpose. I overalled enjoyed the experience of buying this telescope from you. Thank you for the guidance given at every step.

Refractors are worse than reflectors. And no, a 100mm refractor doesn't collect as much light as a 150mm scope. Let's compare the 100mm refractor to a Zhumell z100. It has a parabolic mirror which prevents spherical aberration. And also, I suppose it has a 30mm secondary mirror. Let's subtract the secondary mirror's total surface area from the main mirror's total surface area. Now, divide it by 3. Root that number. Then multiply that number by 2. What do you find? It's the same as a 95mm scope. So a 6inch is wayyyy better. No comparison.

Yes..that's true...on some brands and models , margins are water thin... e-commerce don't do extra quality check before despatch..we do..we charge insurance n shipping at actual not for profits on them...in business it's not possible to bear out shipping always ....buyer needs to pay for services he expects

you cannot see farther than 11km .. no matter what telescope you use.. becoz after 11 km our earth bends and that's what we call horizon

As per the product reviews it will suffer from chromatic abbreviation doublet or triplet refractors are better but triplets are very costly

Over 4 inch refractors..they do..under 4 also on high powers but not very noticeable in achromat refractors
