I just completed the game, and am currently trying to collect all the strawberries to potebtially 100% the game. Then I see you grabbing a bunch of strawberries without ever collecting them, without dying once without dashing. What the actual fuck.

I recently beat 1A dashless for the first time and I feel attacked lol. GG, cool concept.

For the final screen of 1A (dashless obv), I usually attempt a double jump (like the one that you do a screen after cp 1) around like the fifth black lines on the right? Its pretty hard to properly explain without a visual, but hopefully the first part at least is of some help.

It's very much harder. You need to know exactly where to jump from to not die consistently, and a few rooms are a problem if you don't know consistent strats.

Yep! Left hand does directions and one jump, and controller does the rest (with two jumps)

I'm doing a trick called Neutral Jumping; just jump from a wall without holding grab and without holding any direction, then hold back towards the wall and repeat.

No, this is probably just the time I spent in 8B in this savefile. 8B is much shorter.
