Managed to get a set of these for $16 usd... there really is a race to the bottom these days! (I agree that they're good for a lot more than gaming, but as a gamer I want to point out that they're punching above their weight class for imaging) I'll be recommending them to friends looking for a gaming set for as long as that new user sale runs,

thank you for sharing your impressions! I have and like the G5 and lately thought about doing the very same and buy a Ru7. I hope it would give more soundstage depth and better imaging. Would it be a reasonable upgrade in this regard with the Ru7? Which are the pros of this combo to your ears?

I hope they release a celest wyvern 2 with deeper sub bass extension and transparent shells focusing on incredible imaging/soundstage, a clip to hold the microphone at the jack so the mic can always remain with the cord (and ditch the cord mic altogether, include a premium cable for the boom and an extra cheapo inline mic cable). This iem seems like a really good design, especially the boom microphone inclusion!

You just hit my newest 2 today. whoop! And just before I got those I got ZVX and EDA set. I Bought Wyvern based on the graph and how beautiful it was. Got it paired with with XINHS rainbow cable and Kbo7s. Gotta be honest, I did a lot of tip rolling before I settled on those. Really enjoying them now. Also EQs beautifully to the TinHifi t4 plus 😀picked it up for $14. Not as fun as Castor but very nice IEM. Both sound much better using amp. Listening on LG G7 w/quad dac. Btw how does it sound compared to EA500 and EW200. Graph is identical to EW200!

They are very nice but not as clean and detailed as SIMGOTs. But honestly not even a fair comparison as the SIMGOTs have very very good drivers

@@akros9333 I almost picked up an ew100p but I figured the Wyvern was a close enough sound. I like details but I really like a well rounded sound and then of course I love a well done basshead set. I EqD to HBB's squig. I usually fine tune to death when I auto EQ but T4+ graph is so similar, the transition was near perfect, including treble. I didn't touch it. Filled in mid bass, which made it sound so much better and added some energy in the highs. Sounds REALLY good! Doubt I'll listen much to it stock since I like that tune so much. Let me know if you try it and how it compares to the actual T4 😉 I listen to a lot of vocal trance, really love a hard trance with melodic female vocals. Also Florida break beats, hip hop, 80s Florida booty bass, freestyle, jungle. That being said my tastes are all over the place. I love guitar, so Dires Straights is on high rotation. I just turned 52 and my dad was a musician. Some of the guys from Lynyrd Skynyrd even jammed at our house. Pretty much like most music but modem country. Which is why everything can't be a basshead IEM 🤣 but clean bass is important to me even if it is a bass light set. I'm not a fan of a very lean sound. I consider Wyvern bass light and am definitely happier with the midbass bump on the EQ. Going up in budget for one in the next few months, $50-100, was thinking Q5, JZ Clear or EA500. Thoughts?

​@@someoneusatry eq'ing the wyvern's to the aful performer 5. In my personal experience the upper mids became much more even, and the bass definition became much more satisfying to listen to.

I just purchased the Fiio FH11 since you seemed to like them compared to many other budget iems. ._.

Would you test the mic?

is it better than chu 2, ew100p, kz d-fi non-switch, and tanchjim one?

Well at this price the differences will always be small. Less bassy than Chu2 but equally competent in the mids. As musical overall as the CHU2 EW100 is a detail monster so it's a clear winner , but not as musical as the Wyvern. KZ DFi is the same as the ZVX. Tanchjim One is as musical and perhaps slightly more competent technically. It however looses in the fit department......Wyvern has faultless fit.

This vs kz Castor normal version ? Both have Harman Target. Which one should I consider ?

Castor a little more detail ..Wyvern a fuller bass . Both are excellent to be honest.

Find a sale and get both! I got Castor Bass @$12 and Wyvern @$14.50. Compliments to each other.

could you maybe provide a model name or a link for the cable? I'm quite unexperienced in the aliexpress cable department and have fallen in love with that cable but cant find it. @@akros9333

i would totally get this except the pinna gain to about 5k is is just a little bit too harsh. Wish it took like an Aria upper mids route and then it would be perfect and probably demolish anything up to 50$ easily

Wow.....three totally different IEM. I like them all....Quintet only bugs me a little in the upper mids where it can be a little hard...otherwise it's amazing AS24 is very good for all BA set....would like if it had a little more bass weight Wyvern has good bass weight bit no where as detailed as the Quintet and AS24 If you are willing to spend 200usd....well how about the AS24 and Wyvern.....or then Wyvern and EM6L .....or maybe even iVIPQ V12...really good 2+6
