It reminds me of the 90s film ‘Cruel Intentions’ with the bet etc. It is similar in concept but also very different in others too.

Cruel Intentions was the 90s adaptation of the original Dangerous Liaisons movie of the 80s with Glenn Close and John Malkovich.

It does have the same concept with the bet but personally i think this movie was so much better than after because they genuinely had a connection and the tension and tessa I feel wanted to rebel against her mum

Also Tessa and Hardins relationship is purely sexual which is fine but without it they really don’t have a stable connection I think they are together because the sexual tension so they are always in arguments they aren’t healthy for one another they both need to move on especially after the bet
