When I hear the parent's response by disowning their own child, I know EXACTLY why their adult children want nothing to do with them. I'm not stereotyping but just pointing out the common denominator is the father.

It disgusts me how much parents can exploit their own kids by pushing them into show business at such an early age and get rich off their success at the expense of their kids' well-being.

That hit me really hard because I have always respected him and I still do as an actor because he is still a great actor but wow.....just wow. Idk what else to say.

I think it's awesome that children become successful in life and expose their abusive parents - that's what the abuser deserves.

I sometimes wonder if my bio dad only tells people he has 2 children instead of 3. I can’t imagine him wanting to be put into a situation where if they ask him something about me him not knowing what to say since I haven’t spoken to him in half a decade.

Relationship with family can be very complicated. Good, bad or ugly we need to deal with them. Celebrities have some struggles just like the average person does. We unfortunately don't get to choose our parents.

Me too! He says he doesn't care cuz people are going to feel how they're going to feel the way they feel, you divorce his spells, you move on. WOW! I know back then when couples divorced, Daddy's didn't always do visitation light now. But he made the point to say he didn't care. I know why, he's a sociopath. Sociopath just don't have feelings. They are not built that way. Probably why he's a good actor, they study people and that's how they pass in society with other people. They convince you they love you because they've studied other people in love. So they act the way they think people in love Act. He really is enlightened, he knows what he's doing. He just is not able to care.

Kenya Moore of the RHOA also comes to mind. Her mother never wanted anything to do with Kenya when she was born and still won't acknowledge Kenya as her daughter. It really sad when your own mother doesn't want anything to do with you.

I THOUGHT THIS ONLY HAPPENED TO me have not , seen my youngest child in 12 years. Painfull. Including my 3 grandsons.❤

These comments are disgusting. It’s not always the fault of the parent in every case. I’ve witnessed friends being abused and treated poorly by their own children.

What disgusts me is teens being able to parent bash publicly - some of these stories (not the physical abuse ones) sound like parents trying to prevent teens making mistakes while they were young, as all parents should. If McCaulkin found out he was worth 50M, how much could his parents have taken? Sounds like they were saving his money for him. And Heather Graham sounds like she was a standard teen, vulnerable to industry predators, with parents trying to make good decisions for an under 18. Probably explains why she stopped talking about as she got older - realised she was being unfair. I'll bet NSwift has another video about kids who went off the rails because they were too young when exposed to media careers and major-decision making. Damned if you try and parent teens, damned if you don't succeed. In some cases, this is likely not a fair presentation of a situation. As for the Markles - very one-sided presentation. C'mon Swift, do better.
