"Legend" and "icon" do get thrown around too casually, but in ths case, it is 100% TRUE!

Few days before turning 97 ! A star but very humble and down to earth. Such a classy lady.Actress,producer, TV, theater, singer....I thought about her and "Murder she wrote" these last few days again. One of my favorite shows in the world! Forever one of the iconic and extraordinary tv successes of all time!beatiful tribute!💔⚘❤🙏🏻🪙🇮🇱✡🕎

It hits the heart when someone that has been a part of one’s entire life through song and screen passes. She certainly blessed me with her legacy as I have been transported many times through her wonderful acting. I think however, it’s Angela being herself that was my favorite character by far. Wonderful video tribute. 💙🌈💙

Angela Lansbury was a treasure. Wow what a life she had, she lived every moment. Like a candle it was burning bright as was her life, now the flame is extinguished and she is at rest. Thank you Angela for all you did. Your legacy will live on. God bless!!

Class and elegance personified! I didn't realize Gaslight was her first film. she was amazing in it. loved her in everything I saw her in, but i have to say my favorite was Death on the Nile. She was a Sunday night staple in our house. We were just talking about her a few days before she passed away. The consummate performer. RIP

She had a long and glorious life and career. I saw her first in "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" at Radio City Music Hall, I'll never forget it...but also loved her in "The Manchurian Candidate." Those Tony's aren't easy to get, but she deserved every one of 'em. RIP Dame Angela Lansbury.

I watched episode after episode of Murder, She Wrote yesterday after her passing. Such a devine & graceful lady. I will miss her forever.

Two great ladies lost recently Elizabeth ll and Dame Angela Lansbury the world is a sadder place at their passing R.I.P.both

What an absolute legend in every sense of the word. She will continue to inspire generations of performers on stage and screen alike.

Growing up in the late 70s and 80s when i hear Angela Lansbury I always remember bedknobs and broomsticks as one of my favorite movies on Disney Channel. May she rest in peace.

Based on her Tony accolades, I reckon that Dame Angela might be considered primarily a _theatrical_ (stage) actor, even though many of us common folk got to know of her best from Murder, She Wrote. I believe Ms. Landsbury was nominated for an Emmy a total of 20 times but lost out each bloody time. Still, she leaves behind a remarkable legacy indeed; RIP 🎥🎭📺

Surely a theatre should be named after her on Broadway

As sad as her passing is, it was so nice to see your emotion about her. We need more people in the news to show humanity and express sympathy.

Beyond her acting legacy, she forever stands as a supreme model of professional grace, poise, class and endearment. Many may have more awards, but I doubt if any, maybe very few, have been more loved by their audience of all ages. May up and coming actors look to her as their role model. Hollywood and the world would be better for it. ❤

"Sweeney Todd", Bed Nobs and Broomsticks, Murder She Wrote, Play a Little Night Music, etc. She won 6 Tony Awards. An Academy Award. Golden Globe Awards. She is a true actress at her craft. Bless you Angela Lansbury for giving us so many years of your talent. I loved all of your performances. May You Rest In Peace. My Condolences go to her family.
