    @@slappydoodle Just because YOU don’t hear people talking about a certain person, thing, or place, it doesn’t mean that person or thing is underrated. Are Cary Grant, Paul Newman, and John Turturro underrated because they’re not talked about very often? No. They’re widely recognized as great actors, just like Oliver Platt. Did you ever ask yourself why Rich Eisen would ask Oliver Platt to appear on his show? Do you think it’s good for business to have a guest who isn’t popular?

    I 1st saw him in lake placid and thought oh this is a jolly fellow I like him, then exec decision Colonel were not gonna make it u will (seagals best acting chops lol) he's just in so many things that he blends super well

    I love Platt. He is great. One of my favorite roles was the swarmy lawyer he played ina Time to Kill. He was perfect. You could hear him sweating because it was so hot and he was a robust man at the time.

    Oliver Platt in the Ice Harvest with John Cusack, Billy Bob Thornton, etc. steals the movie as Pete VanHeuten. “I think I scraped my tummy” is so damn funny for a giant guy like Oliver.

    I began streaming "The Bear" series after this interview; and because I like Oliver but after 18 episodes and the characters dialect feels like F U and F U back over and over again, it began to be bit derivative, gratuitous and stale...It had such potential for growth...
