    In a shocking turn of events John Candy is an amazing guy. I don't think anyone who ever worked with him, ever met him has a bad thing to say about him.

    I don’t know how well the movie holds up, but, god damn, seeing Independence Day in theaters as a kid was straight up mind blowing.

    It holds up fine. It does drag in the middle, but it always did. I will say that from the beginning of the movie to the first attack, it is a straight up, top notch thriller. I would put it up against any movie in terms of build up and suspense in that regard.

    The dog scene is a mindless "hooray the dog doesn't die in an explosion of fire" cliche, but I love it. Being 6-7 years old in the theater, that scene made me have hope in humanity lol.

    Bill Pullman seems like a very down to earth guy. Spaceballs is one of my all-time favorite movies (but I love most of Mel Brooks' films). I've seen it at least a dozen times and still crack up at all the jokes (and can practically recite the film from memory).

    Jack: I'd say that she gets under your skin as soon as you meet her. She drives you so nuts you don't know whether to hug her or, or just really arm wrestle her. She would go all the way to Europe just to get a stamp in her passport. I don't know if that amounts to insanity, or just being really, really... likable. Peter: No, that's not it. [Jack looks annoyed] Peter: But she's gotta be really special. She's gotta be. And I can spend the rest of my life finding out why. [Jack leaves]

    Wes Cravens The Serpent And The Rainbow I thought was one of his best movies ever for serious acting skills. Another underrated actor Hollywood has not given credit where it is due for his talent.

    While You Were Sleeping might be the most underrated movie of all time. Pullman is superb in it, and perfectly cast, as the hard working overlooked younger brother. It is also Sandra Bullock magic.

    Bill is awesome.. ever since Brain Dead and Serpent Of the Rainbow. Back in the 80s. And his comeback to me was The Sinner. He proved he's the same brilliant actor from the 80s to the 90s Lost Highway days... He has always been awesome.

    I can tell you why they don't. Its a DLynch film and the people who love his films, particularly that one, are also truly one of a kind. I don't mean that shitty. I hate Lynch's stuff but my best friend loves his stuff. I like surrealist stuff and stuff that isn't fully explained.....but there is a freakin limit for me in terms of making some narrative sense. So basically either you or my friend will need to interview Pullman.

    Pullman enhances every movie he makes. His relatively minor role in the second Equalizer film is nuanced and understated in sharp contrast to the scenery chewing of Washington, Leo, and Pascal.

    Shame they sidelined him so bad in Independence Day Resurgence. He's still bursting with charisma. That movie had a lot of problems but I think expanding his role would have helped a lot.

    Actors who can do everything, comedy, drama, action really are fascinating...ESPECIALLY those like Bill where we all know him. I never see him in anything and think "Oh it's Bill Pullman", I just see the character. That is such a weird, undefinable skill.
