Celebrity Solstice 2023 Cruise Ship Tour | Full Ship Walkthrough 4K

A full cruise ship walkthrough tour of the Celebrity Solstice, filmed in 2023.
Celebrity Solstice is the first in the Solstice Class of ships. I previously sailed on Celebrity Equinox, a sister ship to the Solstice, and have been on multiple Edge series ships. Celebrity Cruises is one of my favorite cruise lines, but where will Celebrity Solstice rank in the list of my favorite cruise ships across all of the cruise lines?
For help booking your next trip with my official travel partner: travelwithzach.com/

Glad you enjoyed Solstice. That was my first Celebrity cruise in 2016 to Alaska. Still remember the beauty of the ship and the excellent service

My wife and I are looking at a Hawaiian Islands cruise in the fall of 2024 and the Soltice ship 9 days and the Edge ship 13 days are my choices. I'm not sure which would be the best option but we are going on our 4th cruise in October but our first on the Celebrity Equinox so it should help us have a better idea hopefully. Thank you for the great tour of the Soltice Zack.

Great video, Zach! We love Solstice class but we've never been on Solstice. We loved Cellar Masters on Summit so it's nice to see it on other ships, but the format is completely different and the enomatic machines are thing of the past...

Thanks for watching! Cellar Masters was a great place to sit and look at the waves rolling by on a sea day when I was on Equinox and I never went inside it on Solstice but to get this video. It is such a different format and I barely saw anyone in there.

It's a large ship that seems intimate in many areas. The dark woods are warm yet it's a bit modern as well. Some may say it is dated but I don't find that at all. Ensemble Lounge and Sky Lounge and Martini Bar are the areas I would spend a lot of time in evenings/nights. Daytime, the solarium area and sunset bar and Sky Lounge are great. Murano is an excellent restaurant. I'm just a fan of the Solstice class and I don't want them to carve out suite-only areas. I think it's too bad Michael's Club is as it was a great piano bar when it was for all passengers. I just ask Celebrity to maintain their ships like they used to do. I don't think they're always consistent in doing so and that needs to be fixed pronto.

Hmm, I just booked this ship and I am having serious second thoughts after watching this. We booked the Sept. 2024 Vancouver to Hawaii trip. 5 days at sea. I think we will be bored by the end of the first day. The pools look rather disappointing. Other than the dining, really nothing looks that great. I grew up in Reno and the whole ship looks like a 90's casino to me.

Can you tell us about the outlet situation in the staterooms, balcony rooms. Do they have usb ports. Can we bring an extension with usb usb/c ports on it?

  • @ZachtheTravelingMan

No usb ports on Solstice and no outlets by the beds but you could definitely bring a usb “brick” or something to plug into the regular outlet.

One point I would like to make....I have been sailing with Celebrity since 1990...And every single time I got a MUCH better deal booking a future cruise with my AAA auto travel agent...and I don't mean a little better...I mean a lot better....Future cruise booking dept on board is really more of a IMPULSE purchase, sort of like waiting on line at the check out and you look at the candy bars and gum and make a impulse buy right before you pay for your groceries...I will Never Ever book a future cruise on the current cruise I am on...I am not talking about other lines, I am talking about Celebrity. Also, you can get free onboard credit of $100 just by opening up a Celebrity cruise Visa or Mastercard and I believe maybe a purchase I am not sure.....I only use a credit card to get rewards...I pay for the entire charge when the bill comes...So I am getting OBC for free, If you don't allow charges to build up you really can take advantage...I have had many $100 OB credits added as I made purchases over the years and I just pay the bill in full each month as if I was using cash in the first place.

Cruised all three classes of Celebrity shiod, and the Solstice class is our favorite. Don't really care for the Edge class. Too glitzy and less intimate, particularly when booking the Retreat class.

@@butalina The Edge class ships took out too many of the great spaces in the Solstice ships and don't reallly have much Celebrity style. They tried to make them too trendy and contemporary. Tech is good but the new designers don't seem to get Celebrity style and spaces that made Celebrity who they are. They're OK ships if you don't care about what was lost from Solstice and like the idea of a class division ship with so much prime real estate on them going to suite passengers in the top forward part of the ships.
