Also in regards to the roommates and friends of beau, murder like this is so uncommon in sydney. They saw a red stain on the ground and thought it was beet juice... I've lived in plenty of share houses in sydney. You see a big mess don't immediately assume murder, you don't touch it under the presumption you can get them to clean it up when they get home

To be fair most of these celebrities male or female when it comes to celebrity bloggers trying to use their name face and recognition to get clicks views n likes of course they would have disdain for these types of people when they know that theyre getting the attention purely on the fact theyre famous. At the end of the day theyre just people, with big bank accounts.

I am not sure if someone mentioned this, but apparently one of the roommates saw the bodies covered with the tarp on Monday night in the courtyard of the house. This roommate didn’t think that this was too bizarre and noted that there was ‘beetroot’ juice on the ground near the tarp and that on kicking the tarp, that the contents were mushy. This person also took pictures, but obviously didn’t report anything. My goodness, asleep on the job. 😢

I had nothing to do with the shire growing up but went to Cronulla Beach by train and knew it was the only beach in Sydney with a railway station close by and learned about the suburb of Miranda because of the Miranda Hi Fi stores on TV commercials.

You reported on this case so much more thoroughly and succinctly than any of the Aussie news media did. Very well done.

Wíth all due respect Dr Grande, Jessie was NEVER in a sexual relationship of any kind with the psycho cop. The psycho cop wanted a friendship and alot more with Jessie but thóse feelings were not reciprocated. Jessie got the help of a good friend to write a polite text asking Psycho cop to not contact him further as the cop was obsessed. Cop would not take no for an answer and wrote a novel back , basically begging Jessie to reconsider. Psycho cop started a stalking campaign, even breaking into Jessie's house to watch him sleep. Once Jessie started dating Luke , that is when his stalking campaign escalated. This cop thought he could get away with his psycho acts because he was a police officer, and his obsession became out of control and turned to murder. Sadly Luke was not an original target , however, he was at the home the night psycho went to confront Jessie. It was very much premeditated as psycho had purchased a huge súrfboard bag in which to place Jessies body 😥

He bought two surf bags actually, it was seen on store cameras and it's still on the news although its quieting down. At least they've found the bodies at the dam now, and they can do forensic tests to find out what he did to them both. Even the journos on tv did a dedication to them. I live in Newcastle where Beau drove to, to clean the car. I live in the same suburb, just a couple of streets away. It was upsetting to know that he cleaned up evidence by hosing down the inside of the van, just a few feet from the local swimming pool, and on a very popular walking path in our community. We're a close knit community and watch out for one another, so it was very shocking and we were saddened by what he'd done here 😢 You also missed a part of the story, of where he returned alone to Bogonia to move the bodies to another area because he was worried the female from the first trip would rat him out. RIP Jesse and Luke ❤🕊

Before he handed himself in he told friends that he had been swimming in a dam with bodies that wouldn't sink. And that he wasn't sure if it was reality or a dream.

For a police officer, he really left a huge amount of evidence😢

NSW Australia has a 'no body = no parole' law. I'd say that was why he told them where the couple was. I imagine jail isn't exactly pleasant for a cop. Very sad. RIP Jessie and Luke.

@@easternkiwiz to be fair, driving around Paddington if you ever been to the area the streets are very narrow and if youre in a bigger car n another car from the opposite direction is coming through the street you better have enough space to veer off to the side so that car can get through. Plus mounting over curbs while turning corners is common when you drive in roads such as in Paddo where you need to drive very carefully or you will either sideswipe a car or in this case driving over a curb. As a truck driver i detest these suburbs lol.

Given that once you have one cluster B Personality Disorder, its likely you have at least one ofher (and there's a lot of overlap) as well as narcissism it is possible to also detect traits here of: Borderline Personality Disorder - the way he reacted to rejection. The stalking. The emotional instability. The "splitting" from idealisation to violent hatred. Histrionic Personality Disorder - his constant need to be the centre of attention with celebrities.

Your theory was interesting that Beau was not anticipating killing the second victim and that is why he had to buy a second surfboard bag...I had been wondering why he hadn't purchased two in the first place. It appears he was insane with jealousy (narcissistic), just enough to make lame attempts to cover up his crimes while openly sharing so much with his lady friend. That jealousy is perhaps more indicative of the swings in borderline personality disorder. The splitting between idealisation and hatred. Having said that, once you have one cluster B personality disorder, it's likely you will have others. He seems to have had a lot of traits of histrionic Personality disorder too.

They must have been killed in the one downstairs bedroom which is the same level as the kitchen. On that level there is a double set of French doors which would be easily accessible- we never locked ours! There was also a lane out the backyard… so easy entrance to the rear courtyard, access to toilet, then bathroom, the kitchen door or lounge room/ground floor patio door….. Up the terribly narrow stairs is only a landing situated between two bedroom doors. The large bedroom has a balcony, the small bedroom only has a window looking out onto the bathroom and separate toilet….

Such a loony world.

I’ve been watching this unfold here in the news and I’m so glad for New South Wales having a ‘no body, no parole’ stance. It’s highly likely that he never would have disclosed the location of their bodies if that wasn’t the case. Our justice system is so lax when it comes to murder, but I think it’s a great policy. It’s very disappointing how easily a police firearm was able to be taken out of the station. Police firearms are supposed to be stored in a secure safe at the station when officers aren’t on duty, except for a narrow set of extenuating circumstances relating directly to their police work. Guns need to be closely monitored, and accounted for at all times. Clearly, considering what happened in this case, it’s not enough to just get permission. Both the officer and person allowing the gun to be checked out need to sign a statement that is kept and filed stating the reason, what kind of gun has been taken and how much ammunition is being taken. The person allowing the gun to be checked out should also record a strict timeframe in which the officer is allowed to have the gun, with a firm time that the gun must be returned by. There should be sanctions if the gun is not returned by the deadline. Ammunition should also be counted when the gun returns to the station and any missing ammunition should be accounted for in a signed declaration. There should be sanctions for ammunition that is unaccounted for (including misplacing/losing ammunition) or if the officer can’t give a satisfactory reason for discharging the gun. Any infraction should be penalised, it’s too important of an issue to be relaxed about rules. The system they have is far too lax, it’s basically an honour system. Also, having seen the clip of him tasing the person they were apprehending, he definitely used excessive force. He repeatedly tased the guy even when he was lying prone and not struggling. There were other officers for back up, too. I think he should have been disciplined. Hopefully the judge comes down hard on him due to being in a position of trust as a police officer and using his police weapon to commit the murders. He used his insider knowledge to try to tamper with evidence and throw off the investigation. It’s the worst kind of betrayal to use his position as a cop to access a firearm for murder and cover it up, and the book should be thrown at him. Unfortunately since he turned himself in (when he knew he was about to be arrested) and disclosed the location of the bodies (because he knew he wouldn’t be paroled if he didn’t) I can see him getting some years shaved off. He’ll probably get the usual slap on the wrist that all but the most heinous murderers get here.

Yeah, he is probably thinking thank god I didn’t do white collar crime, it could certainly be worse re the sentence. No, I am not joking. In Australia you can get five yrs for a violent rape and 8 y for murder but if you cheat the banks or scam the tax dpt you get over ten yrs, presumably to discourage others…

I would have to research stats, but here in the States I tend to see jail sentences of life without parole for planned murders. And that is as it should be. Back in the day 20 to 25 years was more typical, and the killer would get out early if they "behaved well". Murder is the worst crime, especially planned and thought out. The murderer should not be allowed to walk among us when they have demonstrated how dangerous they are. I hope the victims families in this case get real justice. RIP to Jessie and Luke.

@@katie0303 It’s very rare to get that kind of sentencing here, there’s usually a chance of parole and sentences can be less than 20 years for premeditated murder. I have a criminology degree and studied both the Australian and American criminal justice systems and while the US does tend to be too heavy handed with a lot of lesser crimes I think their sentencing for murder is far more appropriate than ours most of the time.

If my friend gets the case ( he's a Crown Prosecutor) with a 99% success rate Beau will probably get 40+years.

From what I’ve read, they only had a casual fling. They weren’t in an actual relationship. Yet this loser pulled a “if I can’t have you, no one will.” Ridiculous and sad.

Actually, police say that she contacted them immediately and reported this suspicious behaviour after he left her home. Which is why he was the first and only POI so quickly after Jesse and Luke’s disappearance.

Ex officer by then and as stated, she informed police quickly and was alarmed at his behaviour despite being a friend and former colleague.

I’m not speculating about what could be happening; I really am among the first 1000 viewers of this video.

Stalking very likely leads to murder and should be taken far more seriously!

It is. Not sure about the US but here in Australia they are having a tough time with retention and attracting new members. No one wants to be a cop anymore. I can't say I blame them. So the police force take what they can get - within reason. Standards for entry have dropped. It's a real problem.

The ability to destroy someone's life and not care must be strong in a police officer. There are many crimes that do not involve moral issues, owning a still for example, but a charge and conviction could very easily cost you your job and drastically harm your ability to get another. So a life has been potentially destroyed for an activity that most of the people in the world are free to engage in, just not us Aussies.

Australian news media collude to keep the public largely in the dark and carefully control the pace of info we get. It wasn't always this bad. Just watch vintage news reports to see how they respected the viewer enough to explain much further like we have a brain.

On your thoughts as to why the neighbours did nothing after hearing gun shots. Or how could the flat mates not know the red stains on the carpet were blood and not beetroot juice. And didn't they know the holes in the wall were bullet holes?? I'd like to remind you that your average Australian has never seen a gun, doesn't know what a gun shot sounds like, nor what a bullet hole looks like! And if they knew that there was a cartridge on the kitchen bench, would they know it was a spent cartridge or not? Probably not! You might be saying to yourself "oh come on! Who doesn't know what a spent cartridge look like!? 😂" But if you have never seen one, or no-one has shown/told you, how would you know? It would NEVER have entered their minds that anything "that bad" had happened, because things like this just don't happen here! ESPECIALLY in Paddington. A very up-market area of Sydney. So, don't make assumptions as to why people don't react in a certain way. We live in two very different countries where the citizens live very different lives.

W.why would you bring a random friend along for the road trip while disposing of a body???

Such a backwater these days.

I live about 2 street from where this happened in Paddington. It highlights the importance of your relationship with your neighbour. I can't believe that the neighbours heard scuffles, screaming and gun shot and didn't call the cops. We are so closed with our neighbours when we go on holiday, we give them the key to keep an eye on our home. Same for them. We all look out for one another. It is also appalling how this guy was allowed into the force.
