Don't even mention Jackie Wilson, who had a heart attack on stage in 1984. In falling to the stage with it's hardwood surface he hit his head so hard that he had a stroke. While both weren't immediately fatal, he died from complications months later after languishing in a hospital, never regaining consciousness. Check him out singing : (your love keeps lifting me) "Higher and Higher". He was a legend.

The Standard club fire is infamous - it was a tinderbox, and anyone not out [esp in a dangerously overcrowded club - many were trampled inside just to get to the door] in about 4 minutes was killed. The club doors were almost impossibly unsafe as well as the pyrotechs - NO ONE there could have predicted what was going to happen in a matter of minutes.

***** Yeah, as a general rule, i agree. The bad thing is that it's a miracle ANYone got out bc of the speed and size of the fire, the tiny size and impossible inward-opening small door to the place. To say "someone went back for [whatever reason]" is guaranteed speculation, as those who did had to literally step on bodies & climb over people standing somehow. There is horrible footage of living people after just minutes packed like sardines at the entrance/exit, screaming and on top of eachother, unable to get out of the doorway we see them in. You couldn't turn around standing in place, let alone "go back" for anything.

Dimebag Darrell was the guitarist (I used to love the band Pantera, but outgrew them). I think this was after Pantera broke up and Dime was playing in a new band (and I think his brother, Vinnie Paul, who was Pantera's drummer as well, was in the new band with Dime). Can't recall the new band's name. If I got any of this wrong, please don't attack me. Either way, RIP Dime. You're missed.

Yes. During the Les Harvey spot.It was such a tragedy. It deserved being talked about. I'm a musician and a Darrel fan & still can't forget the day my husband informed me off what happened. I just felt numb. I couldn't imagine how someone could be so phased about their favorite band breaking up that they could take the life of someone who's music and talents brought joy. And his own brother having to witness it just hurt and made me cry for days. My brother was my bass player, my husband my drummer& my best friend my singer. Just couldn't begin to fathom what they witnessed and the pain they felt. I couldn't go on if it happened to the people I loved and my fans were caught in that horrific moment. Darryl will always be in our heart's and if thier is a God and heaven at least we know Dime is kicking ass in the best ham band ever. His drummers Jon Bonham & Keith Moon, Cliff Burton and Eintwhistle trading off on bass, Hendrix, Rhoades,SRV, Chuck Shuldiner trading leads & Bon Scott,Ronnie James Dio,Layne Staley singing thier asses off & Jon Lord plus Prince rounding it out for keyboards. And Prince the band composer/leader that man could also shred a guitar riff like no ones buisness. Daryl and these others have me looking forward to see the best jam band ever when I pass. To bad they left us so soon in horrible ways but they left us with graet music and memories. Gone but never forgotten.Forever in our heart's and forever with our respect and love. God rest your souls.

Owen Hart was so young. I'll never forget his death, my friends and I was WWE crazy around that year and we all were sad to hear about Owen Hart passing away. People thought Eddie Guerrero was faking but he ended up having another heart attack later on in his hotel room, poor Chavo was actually his nephew and was the one who found Eddie unconscious.

Why did they show Jim Morrison in the wrong person's death? And what about Dimebag Darrell!

I still can't over the fact that Brandon Lee is dead, I named my son after him ( he's now 21 & gorgeous also!). I named my daughter Shannon ( as I always loved that name) only to find out years later that Brandon Lee's sisters name is Shannon, a beautiful coincidence ! 💕❤️💕

No he didn't. He died in a hospital a few days after a guy punched him in the stomach while he was kicking back in his dressing room. He was known to be able to take a hard punch to the stomach but he wasn't ready when the guy punched him.
