There's just something about looking at photos of your ancestors, known or unknown. We search for that piece of ourselves that lies within them.

You know what would be an astounding creation? Imagine a HUGE family tree engraved on the ground somewhere that shows relationships of every person alive today, going back perhaps a few hundred years. We could

I recently saved to my tree on Ancestry a photo that a cousin had posted of my great, great grandmother and all four of her siblings. I had done a lot of research on the Webster's because her father had died when they were all little in Vicksburg during the Civil War. So exciting.

I just found photos of some of my ancestors and yes, it evokes such intense emotions. I'm very sensitive to energy so it felt like our timelines were literally overlapping. Surreal indeed.💝🙏😇

You would think that Andy Samberg would've met his maternal grandfather. They do look alike.

My mother and Aunt have a half sibling they've never met. My grandfather had a child with a German woman during his deployment in the Korean war before he was married to my grandmother. There is another family out there that we don't know.
