What a wonderful and positive occasion, proving that we should rejoice when someone is Promoted to Glory. The tributes to him from his family were also those from a wife and children who adored their husband and father as a man not just an officer, and ultimately, General. Some time ago I cross stitched the words of 'They Need Christ' and made it into a quilt. The morning before General Larsson died I woke up suddenly as a voice in my ear told me to do another one of 'I'll Not Turn Back' and this will be my tribute to John Larsson when it is finished. God bless and keep his family.x

Such a fitting celebration service for General Larson. I remember growing up in Fiji and having to learn the names of SA Generals as a Junior Solider. Under the NZ territory we were privileged to have met The Larsons. May God bless the Larson family. May God bless the Salvation Army
